Re: Stadium Accuracy/Feedback Thread For MLB The Show 25
The A's home debut last night, and I watched the game (ugh), I noticed the in game stadium and it's RL counterpart are quite a bit different. There are sections of stands in right field that are not in the show at all, among other things. My question, should we expect SDS to update Sutter Health Field? Or will we have to wait for custom user stadiums?Comment

Those guys have put in alot of work and created a ton of great minor league ballparks.
Hopefully all of the work we've all done gets ported over to MLBTS 25 so we can keep this going.Comment

The stadium above is a really solid replacement for it. SDS will definitely make the updates, they just went of what references they had initially. They did the same with the changes to CitiField and Camden Yards a few years ago. If it’s a drastic difference from what’s actually in real life, they usually make those changes after a few patches.
I have some affinity to both as I went to Steinbrenner Field back in 2017 (long time Yankees fan) with my son and a buddy while on a trip to DisneyWorld.
Sutter Health Field (used to be called Raley Field) is one of my personal favorites because my son got to throw out the first pitch at a RiverCats game (M-I-L used to play bridge with the owner of the RiverCats).
Those are my main inspiration for creating those two. Plus they are two, unique fields that deserve a good rendition in the game.Comment

They eventually fixed American Family Field (Milwaukee) with the same thing. Roof open, panels open or both vice a versa. I would keep submitting a support ticket.
I actually shared with them an article that broke down the combinations of roof closed/open panels open/closed that the a beat writer did a few years back for each game.Comment

I know IRL they allow more light through them than in the game but they are not see through. Unless that renovation happened this winter. There is glass doors and a bit of window below the panels themselves where fans can enter/exit.Comment

You are correct. IRL there is more light through the panels than in the game.Comment

If you mean the netting that all the MLB parks installed years ago, yeah—they still seem to randomly disappear at times and aren’t always visible. They kinda fade in and out of existence, which is something I’ve noticed in every installment since they were first added. I'm surprised it still hasn’t been fixedComment

Comerica Park added the luxury seating behind home plate along with the already noted removal of the keyhole

Does any one know if Target Field still has that awful glare when batting? I played a few games there at different times of the day and haven't seen the glare like it was last year. wondering if it was toned down or something.Comment

So what are the combinations for the panels at American Family? Is it panels closed during night games and open during day games?Comment
