I played my first Stronghold game last night against the Rockies and won but there were lots of server issues last night and I don't think it updated.


It does not show in my game history yet, but I got the achievement. In fact it acted like I had lost the game because I lost 1 million fans out of my attacking territory and the Rockies Strong hold is shows as attackable.

I mean it seems scea messes with the sliders in those games. I beat the rockies easy bit it ool me 2 tried on the cubs and im on try 5 woth the white sox.

There was a base runningg glitch that lost one game.

My pitchers cant throw to the spots im hitting. (Same pitcher have no issues normally)
My cl0oser robertson hadnt given up a single hit until the wh0itte sox games and now has blown 3 saves.
And adam eaton is playing like a legend.

I am wondering if scea messes with the sliders to make it harder.
O ya amd one of the white sox loses was on vereran a game after i just neat them on veteran in captire fan turn 4-0

I have a similar issue. Everything I did went to queue last night. This morning, I got all my stubs, tickets, and rewards when I logged on. Some of my results were also updated but nothing else.

I have a question regarding the attack phase.

Can you get attacked by another team, without playing a game, and lose fans/territory? That just happened to me and couldn't figure out if I may have pressed a wrong button and it just simmed for me or thats just part of that phase.Thanks in advance.

Yes, I believe so Colorado kept attacking me, it showed in the bottom left of the screen. Occasionally they won.


I have never been able to play a game when they attack my territory. I am kind of glad though because as teams get more territories and fans the attack phase can be quite a few games.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking something seemed weird. I've never been a believer of any type of come back codes in regular sports games...but for some reason just in conquest if I score hella runs, that very next inning they start hitting crazy bombs to either tie it up or make it a 1 run game. But when I can't hit that good they don't either it seems like.....

Guess I'll just keep playing and see if anything changes

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking something seemed weird. I've never been a believer of any type of come back codes in regular sports games...but for some reason just in conquest if I score hella runs, that very next inning they start hitting crazy bombs to either tie it up or make it a 1 run game. But when I can't hit that good they don't either it seems like.....

It took me 12 games to beat the white sox lol 4 on verteran 8 on all star lol

Ive never lost on veteran there is definitely something there and i notice my pitchers are a lot less accurate in strong hold games

Got it, thanks. I probably never pay attention to the bottom left, but then saw my team, and they lost territory to the cubs, when I just beat them the game before.

It sems in the quick 3 inning games things can get out of hand so quickly. Maybe pitchers get more rattled in the quicker games as well. I know if I get behind in the count with some questionable calls on the zone, I let the game start slipping away. A walk here, a balk there, timely cpu hitting then I'm behind and lose. I've also yet to play a home game 13 road games. Can't wait for a homestand.

I know if I get behind in the count with some questionable calls on the zone, I let the game start slipping away. A walk here, a balk there, timely cpu hitting then I'm behind and lose. I've also yet to play a home game 13 road games. Can't wait for a homestand.

Has anyone played a home game yet in conquest?

And has anyone else noticed that if your Ace gets picked to pitch, you automatically go against the other teams Ace?

They said on the twitch stream the fatigue is increased for pitchers due to the shortened games. May be why it seems harder.

Pitchers definitely are set to fatigue faster. Chances are they won't last three innings. I never push my pitchers that hard. I almost always pinch hit for them. Whether they get rattled quicker is something I have never heard.


While pitchers fatigue quicker relievers do not warm up any quicker. I automatically start warming them up in the top of the second. There is no carryover fatigue either so I always warm up my closer Jake McGee and JJ Hoover (who has excellent Stamina for a reliever).

Has anyone played a home game yet in conquest?

And has anyone else noticed that if your Ace gets picked to pitch, you automatically go against the other teams Ace?

I am beginning to think home games are only when some other team attacks your stronghold. Maybe they were going to let you play games where other teams attack your territory and then changed that due to the number of games it would take to get through one round.

Well I got home and I fired up the game. My Winning the game against Colorado to win their stronghold never updated. So I decided to just keep going and started a new attack phase. Won a territory from KC and as I was trying to get back to the menu after the game I got the dreaded Could not connect to the server.

It is only 5:30 my time. Still 3:20 on the west coast so I figure it will only get worse as the evening goes on.

Ya I knew about the fatigue factor from the short preview videos before release. Maybe pitchers confidence probably can increase or decrease quickly as well because of a shortened game. Maybe one walk is enough to rattle. I'll have to pay closer attention to that.

Anyone else having issues with conquest games getting queued? It's totally ruining the game mode for me. My attack turns get wasted because all of the games I play get queued. On top of that, I don't get any rewards. So annoying.

Mine are queued also but I don't think it wastes the attack phase. Tonight my games all got queued and My attack phases were still netting me territory and fans.

I am guessing but I think the queuing is for your rewards/stubs and maybe XP.
