Man I was just wondering the same thing, the Mariners have been killing my territories even when I have way more fans then them on that spot, and there's nothing I can do so about it. I worked my way to the Giants to try and beat their stronghold and as I got there the rest of my spots got tore up! I then lost the stronghold game and now I'm stuck with like nothing

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I had one round where my territory got hit pretty hard. I think part of my problem was trying to expand too fast. I think for those who play all of our Attack and Capture phase games that this mode could take a really long time if you are interested in capturing the whole map.
Another method I was thinking about is stacking all your fans in one square and marching across the map with it. I am not sure but it seems like you could restart the map and use this strategy to make a beeline towards the keep you want to capture. Keep going until it is becoming harder and then restart the map and do it again heading in a different direction.Comment

Man that's what I did..the rest of my territories got taken over pretty much, then I lost the stronghold game against the Giants and now I'm back with almost nothing in the middle of the map lol“Baseball is a game, yes. Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I did realize last night that during the move phase that you can move fans out of the stronghold. The Colorado stronghold I captured had a lot of fans in it because I over stacked my fans in the square I attacked from.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
Still not understanding this mode too much. I conquered the Twins but I still see 5 red hexagons where they were. During attack it still says I can play them? Do you have to play a game for each colored hexagon per team to fully rid of them?

Once you take over their stronghold they won't have any more reinforcements. But you'll still have to eliminate their remaining spots on the board.Comment

So I'm guessing the Capture phase is pretty important. I keep ignoring it and getting destroyed by either Col or Arizona. Guess I will start utilizing that phase to weaken them down a little bit.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
It also begs the question where those fans come from if they have multiple strongholds because you just choose the ream in that phase and not the stronghold itself.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
They did say you can restart at any time you want. I thought about restarting but I had a good round last night and am now going to take it a little more slowly, even though there is only 1 territory between me and the KC Stronghold (now possessed by Houston). I want to attack it but I need to make sure I don't leave the borders of my territory vulnerable to do so.

Hmm but if I restart then would I lose the mission for capturing the Cubs that I got? I'm also thinking of just playing against the CPU in extra innings until I can get a better team together cause some of these games are tough even on veteran“Baseball is a game, yes. Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I just want to say this mode is awesome! Ive never dived into Diamond Dynasty before, but I watched the twitch streams and this specific mode caught my eye and I cannot stop playing.
My team kinda sucks for right now, absolutely no pitching, I think Tim Lincecum is my best pitcher at 77. Ortiz is my captain and I have 2 days to get 1250 tickets for Gerrit Cole. Anyways I don't have any questions, just wanted to express my satisfaction with this game.
Also, Ive been taking over strongholds usually on the second try on All-Star. But when I tried to take the Tigers, I played 8 times, 4 on All-Star then dropped to Veteran and went 0 for 4. I just took my team to Cleveland. Haha Justin Upton hit like .800 with at least one home run in the first 5 games before I just started plunking him every time.Comment

I can't say for sure but I would be very, very surprised if they took completed missions away from you because you restarted.

I picked Up Jaime Garcia, Jake Odorizzi and Phil Hughes for a little over 2000 stubs because my pitching also sucked. I wanted to upgrade without going broke so I looked for silvers.Last edited by Dolenz; 04-01-2016, 03:25 PM.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
So is it frowned upon to adjust sliders so that your crap DD beginner team can actually hit something that doesn't land on a glove? I feel like playing on all star or legendary with an average 75-80 team is just plain suicide.

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
So whats the difference between renforcing fans and then the next round which is moving fans? If you reinforce the areas you need a bigger number, isn't moving them almost the same thing? or does it depend if you are touching/connecting the area?Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
Pretty sure it depends if you are touching the area or not“Baseball is a game, yes. It is also a business. But what is most truly is is disguised combat. For all its gentility, its almost leisurely pace, baseball is violence under wraps.” -Willie Mays (The Say Hey Kid)Comment
