I haven't gotten into this mode yet but noticed on Twitter several folks have already conquered North America within a week of the game release. What else is there so do after everything is conquered? Do you simply start over?

Also, what are the rewards like compared to other modes? If I choose to play Diamond Dynasty only would I be at a disadvantage compared to those who play Conquest regularly?

^ both good questions, mostly answered in this thread & others but:

1) yes, start over, but as many said, what's the point. You can only unlock the reward once. Some say they will just play Extra Innings (for those who don't want to bother with online)

2) Yes, kinda. Those who finished the conquest, like myself, have already grinded for those FB/Legend players you get through conquest. So you'll be facing stacked lineups with the likes 95 Bautista & 96 Fielder etc..

But it's never too late to start, and it's a fun & addictive mode.

Large chunks of the mode can be simmed. If you in a hurry to finish the mode and move on to something else then it is the most efficient way to progress.

It you want to make the mode last then play all the games out. They are only 3 innings but I guarantee that you won't finish in a week. There is a lot of territory to take over.

We've discussed CPU DD modes alternative to Conquest in here. Is Extra Innings the mode where you play others' DD squads controlled by the CPU? And those are also 3 inning games?

Where's that located? I poked around last night but seemingly only see Head to Head (I'm assuming online only), Battle Royale, Conquest, and CPU exhibition.

When you're in the main DD screen, tap R1 to Records, goto standings and you'll be in the Extra innings mode. I do believe they're 9 innings. Mine were at least. But my games never counted towards any team missions or stat missions. IDK if it's still like that though.

After you've conquered the stronghold and move on to commanding how does the game count the innings played? Do you rack up more innings played if you have an entire team filled with players of that team? Like if I'm trying to fill the innings played for the Rockies and I have 9 Rockies for a 3 inning game do I get 27 innings or 3?

Do you rack up more innings played if you have an entire team filled with players of that team? Like if I'm trying to fill the innings played for the Rockies and I have 9 Rockies for a 3 inning game do I get 27 innings or 3?

I've got 5 starter pitchers, one of which started and went 2 2/3. I've got 7 relief pitchers, 1 of whom came in and pitched 1 inning. I've got 2 starters in my starting 9 and 2 on my bench from the Rockies. I played a 4 inning game and received 6 innings towards the commanding Rockies mission.

Totally lost on how these apply.

I would be lost too. Not sure how that adds up. The two starting position players alone should have earned you 8 innings.

Why am I getting shorted on reward cards?

Or for that matter, getting shorted on cards in general...

I've opened 7 or 8 packs, not including the packs that came with the MVP edition. Other than the 1 freebie gold player, the best card I've pulled is a 79 OVR. Of all the reward cards I've gotten, only 1 has been above 80.

And now, I'm getting the bait and switch on reward cards.

After the last 2 Conquest games, after the reward cards whittle away and only the last card is shown, the card I got rewarded was not that card. In both cases, both cards were above a 75 OVR, but the card I was actually rewarded were both in the 60's. I'm not sure if I can post a video because of my low post count, but I'll try and post a video of it happening.


Is this normal, or has anybody else experienced this? I'd love to know if this is a glitch or if there's something I'm doing wrong. I've noticed that it doesn't matter what difficulty level I play on, I still get crap cards. Doesn't matter if I win or lose either.

I'm really liking Conquest, but I'm finding it very hard to make any progress because I can't build myself a solid team.

After all the packs and all the reward cards my team is made up of 1 gold player (Sonny Gray, whom I've only gotten to pitch with 4 times in 35+ games) and the rest of my team is 81 OVR or lower.

Sorry that this is in a new post, but I couldn't find a way to edit my post above. Here's a short video. Notice the card I'm supposed to get is a 75 OVR, instead I get a 62 OVR.

The video was cut poorly, but that card was the first card on the top left. The first card that disappeared.

I played a ton of games last year and the best by far i got all year was 92 Aroldis Chapman. It is tough to see all these people pulling diamonds but i have yet to pull one and this is my second year. My suggestion is to flip cards

I flip what I can, but most of my cards aren't worth anything. I feed all the crap to my dynasty player.

I get that there's a certain amount of "luck" that goes into getting good cards out of packs, but the bait and switch for the reward cards is very annoying. It's happened another time since I made my initial post.

Yeah i try and not even looks at those bc i know i will get disappointed. I flip every day. Right now i am working on some conquest rewards and have about 8 total collections done

Ok, there is 19 pages and I looked though the first 8 and didn't find the question asked. But if you beat a stronghold on HOF or Legend is the reward a higher rated player for the mission where you have to play a certain amount of innings with that teams player? I.e if I beat a stronghold on veteran will the reward be a silver or if i beat it on Legend will my reward be a high gold/diamond.
