I feel like a wimp because I have been playing on Veteran. I am not sure if the difficulty matters at all on the Attack phase. On the Capture phase I feel like I would rather have an 80% or 90% to capture 2 million fans than a 50% or less chance to capture 3 million fans.
If I thought I could more consistently win on All-Star then I would choose that difficulty.Comment

Hey so at first I was trying to just expand my territories and play against who ever was close to me...but now I'm thinking of just going straight over to the Giants and trying to take their strong hold, what would be the pros and cons of that?

So about the "Conquer stronghold of X" missions. If another team takes the strong hold of that team, would I have to reset in order to complete that mission, or would taking that territory, even though it has another team in it (e.g The Nationals in the Baltimore stronghold), still count? Just a tip, press UP on the D-pad and you'll go directly to the menu to manage your bullpen and substitutions, if you have a pitcher that's ready they'll come up right under the quick menu options for you to easily switch them in. Otherwise, nice uniforms lol.Comment

For anyone else wondering about this, found the info on one of the developer vids. You get a point for each inning played with a player. So a 9 inning game with 9 players that meet the criteria will earn 81 points.
Not sure how it's scaled for conquest games, since they are only 3 innings. But it seems to be different.Comment

Anyone else find Arizona to be a little just a little OP in this mode? They seem isolated just enough from the west coast war and the blue central zone (TEX, CHC, KC) and they have enough space to freely expand and destroy everyone via their reinforcement numbers.Comment

I swear I can not hit a home run and take the lead without the CPU coming right back the very next half inning and tying it up. Even with players with weak power like Nori Aoki, and I'm playing on veteran. [emoji35]

Just started this mode n have a question
I was going to go after the reds, so i hit x and played / beat them on highest diff n got 6million fans , shows 5 territories n only 1 honeycomb is touching a mlb logo -cubs- so at reinforce i bumped that touching honeycomb up to a 2.
Now do i need to use all reinforce fans now or can i hold them till i invade on cubs? Or am i totally lost and going about it wrong lol

Can someone please help me. I've been trying to understand this mode and can't get it for the life of me. First time around I was insistent on playing on All Star so I wouldn't get false hope I was actually good and would go online only to get annihilated. That didn't work well. So I restarted and have been playing on Veteran and have been having a ton of success until recently. I had about 15 territories and 25m fans and 2 strongholds. All of a sudden the Rockies gained 14m fans in one turn on one spot and took that and wiped out everything I had. I'm now down to 3 territories and 4m fans. I had 12 against their 6 and in the attack phase they took it over and basically went to town from there. I feel so defeated. I don't feel it's not fair to let them attack without you being able to defend yourself. Especially when they're at a 6m fan defecit. So I'm not wondering if there's even any point to continue with this one but then again I have no idea what's going to change on the next one. You basically have two routes you can go, the Twins or the Rockies and then from there you can do whatever but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. How is it that some people have been able to stand their ground long enough to go around the map already?Comment
