Coming out with Adley before most people can get Posada, who was the best C in the game for about a week, is the peak of bad program design.

I was able to get on last night and got Gunnar and Mookie unlocked.. im about 5000 xp away from getting my first boss pack which i will take Larry Walker for the Cards team and then i think im going to hop into ranked with a cards theme team boost and maybe mookie at short because he is insane...Also with the awards stuff i was able to collect cards for CC and will be close to the first boss pack in collections ... still having fun mostly and thankfully now ive been able to get online

I had about 200k and thought I'd focus on babe... About knocked out the American league down to just astros and Rangers left but just 62k or so to do it.

For some reason I thought i was closer and could maybe get Ruth by s2... Unlikely.

I do have ohtani for the national but I still need acuna, Betts, and other than randy, degrom, Donaldson I don't have a lot of 30k+ cards to sell

Well, at least at this point SDS has completely dropped the curtain and made it clear they're all-in on packs this year. These last couple pack drops are insane. A bunch of the pack cards are recycled cards from previous games on top of the fan-favorite/meta cards being slapped into packs.

It did help me figure out how I'm approaching the game the rest of the year. I'm sticking firmly to some form of Braves team and will mix Wild Cards where needed. I've been using Buxton/Braves hybrid all year and loving it but decided to create a new squad with the best cards I have at every position.

The team I can put together that way versus the Captain boost isn't even that much better. With so many of the better cards behind packs, my binder is light compared to every other year I've played the game.

So I bought the Awards Albies that was a Chase card and still just rocking this team and will have fun with mixing and matching pieces as I can. The only fear I have there is how they treat attribute updates the rest of the year. Most of the Braves Live Series deserved to be downgraded but they haven't been shy in the past at manipulating attributes to affect team builds as well. Also need to see what the next round of Cornerstone Captains will look like to see if I can hybrid build again or just go all-in on Braves with some random other cards I like.

Really disappointing. And I'm someone that isn't afraid to buy Stubs. With how they're handling content, I'm not spending a penny on Stubs because there's no point in doing so. Why even drop money to buy better cards to take online when online rewards are mediocre until the final program before rotation?

Finally finished the last of the CQ maps and did a run of TA 3. Decided to hop into Ranked finally and it's nice to see that lower All-Star hasn't changed haha

Finished live series and now my 400k stubs sits at 30k. I think I still have a few things to offload like the Santana captain card. I don’t think I’ll use it for ranked (team just doesn’t seem as fun as my old cubs team and I think his price probably drops soon). I’ll probably slap together another Cubs team with some TA3 cards scattered in for my run at ranked this week. It’ll be cool to try Babe out since I’ve never even taken him in BR.

I have the BR reward pack but haven’t decided who to pick. I’ll probably go with Honus since I haven’t heard anyone talk about Cueto.

I've played 8 Ranked games the last two days and have played a total of 25 innings.

I'm at 270 collected s1 cards and at like 970k on the xp path.

I have about 40 points to do in br that I'll prob do Monday morning. So I'll have Rollins, Brett, honus tmrw more than likely.

Haven't played ranked for like 3 weeks atleast... I don't think I've used a Santana boosted team in ranked

I wiped my stubs to like 12k with live series but pulled story from a vault pack so now I'm back up to 118k. I think I need roughly 350k to get the remaining big names for live series.

Not sure how long to hold on to degrom, randy, Donaldson since they're useless in s2 cause that's about 70-80k right there

I'm doing a memorial day vacation so im literally gonna have like one weekend to use Brett, Rollins, petite, etc. Kind've a bummer.

Feel like they might do a flash sale Friday before memorial day when I'll be out of town. Would be good time to finish live series if they throw a live pack in there

Honest question- if you rarely play the modes where the cards that become “worthless” can’t be used in, then why are they worthless? I ask because it seems like it’s actually less of an all-or-nothing proposition for the S1 cards than the community is describing.

For me anyway... I don't play a ton of ranked but the only reason is because there's only so much time and for me to keep up with everything I gotta do programs, conquest, showdown, mini seasons, events, br, etc.... But for me the point is to build my ranked squad, my intent is to play ranked more often.

If s2 starts and I'm not gonna wildcard someone and build their parallels ib don't see a point in using them offline. Plus with team affinity I gotta just use who it makes sense to use for progress.

But yeah for me the point is to accumulate a ranked squad but I just don't get a ton of opportunity to actually play ranked (just 13 games so far)

I played some this weekend and thankfully my internet is letting me online so i got to about 40 points in the BR program and then made it to the first boss pack and took Larry and he did great for me in the 3 ranked games i played im playing with a Cards theme team but since i only need 13 players for the full boost im using other cards as well ..

I finished the whole BR program this weekend, if we played on Sunday, I was so burnt out by that point. I had a few games that went to 4 or 5 innings that were 1-0, was it one of those? I can probably go back and look, but I doubt I had a higher than .300 win percentage by the end.

I actually think BR is one of the better ways to complete TA. After this weekend, I have the ALC, NLC, and NLW done. ALE is 79%, ALW is 86%, and NLE is 70%.

I’ve had a few wheel spins and got lucky and got the 90+ live series on one of them and got Mookie. I’m also at 322 for collections, so il get the 3rd card as soon as I get a few more TA guys. I’ve played a little ranked, but mainly holding off until they release the extra missions. This week is the last week of school, so after my teacher institute on Friday, I’ll have tons of time to play.

it was about 1245 i think lol name the tigers NBt24167 u beat me 2-0 lol i couldnt hit at all .. and yea i have gotten much more done in TA with BR so i think ill probably continue that util i get the pack before i switch to ranked ...

i do hate that i wont be able to use those cards much because we are close to season 2 starting which kinda makes the grind feel not worth it. am i the only one who feels that way?

I got j Rollins and Wagner today... Played two ranked games but opponents were bad, win the 2nd game 10-0 so now I'm up go 15-0 on the year. Sabbathia I pitched super well with but like I said opponent was pretty bad and hitting like 150 with most people

I think I have enough cards to collect Brett and he'd probably replace gunnar Henderson or Eduardo Escobar for me... For whatever reason I can't hit with Escobar this year and im usually very good with him.

Yeah, today I earned a bunch of new cards and xp and all plus played two ranked games so actually had fun playing the game and felt like a point to it today... But yeah just disappointing to be starting over in like 17 days or so when I'm just now getting to the big prizes.
