Update. Currently 4-0 in Weekend Classic.

But wow, what a disaster this has been overall for people. Guys tanking higher ratings to play lower rated guys for easier games yet still get their Goat rewards etc.

SDS butchered this ain’t no way around it. Hopefully for the next one they get things straightened out!

I'm in silver 2 but don't plan to play until Sunday or Monday... Hopefully I don't get sick with a gauntlet of world series guys lol

Just working on offline stuff today and finished the first conquest and trying to chip away at TA and parallels

Got Jordan lawlar to P5 and should get jram there in a few games

Pulled jram and Harper from those packs... Jram I had and sold, Harper I'll keep. So now up to 476k and can get clemens. Prob won't have enough cash to get Johnson for weekend series but that's fine. I'll get oday and judge... Might even use Witt at ss over lawlar even tho I just got him p5

If I could get another decent pull and go into weekend series with randy and Roger at silver 2 I'd feel pretty good

I went 3-3 in the classic, with every loss being by 1 run. I was in gold 1, so I was 1 win shy of getting the player pack, but I bought Kluber earlier in the day.

Ohhhhh yeah that’s super lame. They should lock players in during Weekend Classic and eliminate any rank climbing or falling. Make it its own seperate thing.

Shockingly I didn't have any issues, everyone I played was right in line with where it should have been. I was 5-0 and lost game 6 5-1. All 6 games were super fun, which was another shocker to me. I melted down in the 8th, loaded the bases in the top of the 9th, then the dreaded double play ended it..

Yeah, I wonder how many people are waiting as long as they can to play. Like you said hopefully it's not a gauntlet of top tier guys waiting for you lol.

Are Kipnis and Correa in the Weekend Classic pack? I'm curious where those cards are as someone who played Rematch all weekend and probably won't do Weekend Classic.

Well I was winning my first game 9-5 in the top of the 9th and then the game froze when I did a defensive sub... And my opponent got the win. Awesome.

I'm in silver 1 so that's 7k and 15 packs plus takes away one of my opportunities weekend pack

I did a ticket to sds so not sure if they'll compensate me since I'm sure a bunch of people lie for packs and stuff but regardless that sucks and I burned my new clemens on that first game

Dying for packs over here, need to get lucky etc. I've been just starting a DQ, right to the sweeper (forfeiting all challenges), beat the sweeper, right to a stadium, play on rookie, and then reset. Thats 6 packs in about 23 to 30 minutes. Almost like doing that magic conquest map a few years ago for 5 packs.

2nd game I lost too, 7-4 and I felt like I was mashing

I had 19 good contacts and 4 perfects to my opponents 9 and 2

So off to a rough start... My buchholtz also hung too curveball a square down the middle that were meant to be in the dirt

I’m jealous, some of us have no shot at the sweeper. It’s a long slog and then praying for the right cards in DQ for folks like me.

First TA milestone achieved for me - got all of the Jolt cards. I’ll likely work their PXP missions via the standard MS, at least to complete it for the first time. The stadium restrictions in Vs CPU have been frustrating- I haven’t found a farming stadium that’s any better than good old Shield Woods, which is still deeper in CF than I’d prefer. Hence the appeal of the Miniseason grind for me instead - at least I can use my tiny fence version of a ballpark to get some cheap HRs.

Completed JD Martinez and Sutter programs, just got the pack for Tony Clark, who shall join my Jolt team for this week’s grinding. Aside from whatever the Jackie day/program content takes me to do when it drops tonight, of course.

The DQ with Noah Schultz, the sweeper is the White Sox. They pretty bad, try and put together your best "Vision" team and just have good at bats, work the counts and they will change pitchers a few times.

Then the usual high and tight fastballs for 2 strikes and low and away sliders or change ups for strikeouts..

If I can win on Legend anyone can, my thumbs not what they used to be lol.
