Dude, what do you expect? An entire list of every single new pitcher windup and batting stance? What do you think, people catalogued them from last year and now will compare every batter and pitcher this year and see who's is different? I know if I got the game early I would be playing the game. How the heck are we supposed to know who's stance or windup is new?

Is there someone specific you are looking for?

            Carlos Pena

I'm on him now, but there's a lot of attributes that are wayyyyyyyyyy off. They have his durability at around 20...no freakin way. the guy played in 148 (91%) games last year...I will put his durablity at 91......

also his stance....the stance with his name on it is not his....

for The Show 2007, I had Damian Jackson's stance for him...but in The Show 2008, there is no Damian Jackson stance, so I'm using Trot Nixon's.

Ya, the 06 version graphix were like 10x better than 07. 06 graphics were crisp and smooth, while 07 graphics were less sharp and had a lot of jaggies. but 07 had better gameplay. If they could bring back the 06 graphics and keep the 07 gameplay, you'd have the perfect game.

For those of you who have played 06 and 07, where do the graphics stand in 08?

                Carl Crawford

for a guy who hit only 11 homers, his power is way too high...the fact that he hit over .312 from both sides of the plate, will ensure his simmed stats (if that's what you're into) will pan out realistically. I dropped his power to 15 vs. r and 20 vs. l.

Also, like Pena, his durability is interesting...out-of-the-box, it's at 95 (he played in 143 games which is 88%)...so I will drop it 7 clicks....

                the beat goes on........................

Yup, I even compared the two games side-by-side for a half hour one day. The jaggies on 07 were very noticable. I'm interested as well if 08 is back to where 06 was graphically.

for the guy asking for new animations for deliveries and batting... all I can think of off the top is Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Dustin Pedroia, Kevin Youkilis... Pitching I can name off Joba Chamberlain and Phil Hughes.

there is a list somewhere on these boards.

Graphics seem to be leaning more to the '06 quality. There are still some player model issues but overall the framerate restored to what it ran at in 06 seem to help it " purr " along lol

Oh lol, I already knew that so I thought only the PS2 had some of those. So thanks anyway!

In the Franchise mode, do they have playable Minor League affiliates? I was looking around but didn't see anything on it anywhere.

The Good 'Ol 3-1 Play at First

after playing 4 games, it SEEMS that the programmers took care of the pitchers running with world class speed in every instance to cover first, when the first baseman fields a grounder wide of first or makes a diving stop between first and second...and then recognizing that the only play is by throwing to the pitcher covering at the bag.

My instances have all been close...my runner was safe three times out of about 6 instances
