Holy crap!!!! You are old. That would be like trying to remember Jody Gerut 40 years from now. I actually have a few of his old baseball cards.

Eye glasses.....yes a hundred times on that one.

Yes...and goggles.
When I did the LEGENDS roster....there were so many things I "needed" in the editor.
Glasses for quite a few guys.
Goggles for "Snoopy" when I did the 80's era Reds...He came out great....but w/o his goggles it just didn't seem right.
AFROS....for ALL races of guys.....small ones...BIG ones....OUTRAGEOUS ONES!!

For me if they Sony added a 40 man roster and management system (i.e. options, waivers, etc.) similar to the All Star Baseball series in addition to the usually gameplay tweaks, this game would be near perfect for me.

I would really like total roster control and many of the presentation suggestions but those would all be a nice to have for me instead of a must have.

Another nice to have would be variations of an online franchise. I say this because now that I am 33, most of my friends and I have started families and are now longer living close to each other. It would be great if me and a few friends could pick our teams and play against each other for those games and against the computer for the others.

PSP syncs would also be another great addition. In my opinion, the PSP game plays almost as smoothly as the PS3 game and since baseball has such a long season, it would be great if I could play some of my franchise games on the train to work and then sync with my PS3 when I get home. I believe Kolbe or someone mentioned that they can't capture the level of statistics on the PSP to synce up with the PS3 but I would much rather see a PSP version with less features in order to capture everything for the PS3 synce. Obviously this won't happen because not everyone has a PS3 and PSP so this is not priority #1 but it would be nice.

I would like to see more color options for gloves. It's not a huge issue, but something I would want SCEA to change.

IE: Darker brown, not all brown gloves are tan.

Also, We should be able to choose for different positions, I have a black catchers mitt, but a brown glove, I'd like to be able to change that and not have one or the other all the time.

I would like to see other flags in the baseball parks besides the USA flag, Example the Phillies have flags for when wining the World Series.

In MLB 08 The Show I see like 10 or more USA flags in the same ball park.

How 'bout a franchise file transfer system that would allow you to keep your franchise from '08 while enjoying '09's new features?

I know, it'd be tough to do with all the varying rosters, schedules and such, but it'd still be cool. You could just keep all the rosters and schedules from '08 but set the new features in '09 (those not in '08) to default, if you catch my drift.

I think I'd pay 60 bucks for this.

*having the pitching coach come out and talk to a pitcher as many times as you want and not just twice with the manager.
*editable managers and coaches unless the names are already in.
*editable contracts to make the franchise more accurate.
*cut scenes of a player taking off there shin/elbow guard after reaching base
*being able to step out of the bow
*having an option for a player to wear long sleeves when its cold and not all the time...like madden
*more players/coaches in the dugout
*random showings of the dugout and crowd (high fives after a homerun...what they actually do like the long ones...crowds reaction to a strikeout, homerun)

This may have already been mentioned, but when the game closes for shipment there will probably be a glut of unsigned free agents. I thought last year the game had to many made up players on the free agent list. Hopefully there will be plenty of real players on the FA list.

You don't get unlimited visits to the mound in baseball, so why would it be in the game!!!

how not ive seen mike maddex come out and talk to ben sheets close to a dozen times in one game...

Managers/pitching coaches can only go out once per inning. The second visit in an inning and the pitcher must be removed. Even if it is one for PC, one for manager.

They theoretically could go out once an inning for 9 innings and leave the starter in, but if they go out twice in any inning they have to remove the pitcher.
