OK -- couldn't stand it any more and had to load 08. And had forgotten that you couldn't make a position player in RTTS that was left handed.

Can you make a left handed position player in '09?

Do you mean a C,2B,SS or 3B.....because you can make other position players left handed....just not those positions....of which there are none in the MLB like that(or likely to be!)

Doh! I just noticed the option missing when trying to make a SS and didn't think about the reality of what's in the league right now or why. That being said... I can see it working for a 2nd baseman. *shrug*

Gameplay - Baserunning. Will you finally have an option where you can have the CPU run for you (auto) BUT be able to override their decisions? I really liked MVP '05 where the cpu would make all the basic calls like go home on a single, advance to second on a wild pitch, etc. but I could still try to stretch a single into a double and control stolen bases. I really dislike how the Show is 100% manual or 100% cpu controlled. I want a middle ground.

Also with baserunning, I would love to select a manager option while batting like "hit and run" or "double steal". I suck at stealing and I especially suck at stealing while trying to hit. I'd prefer to have the cpu steal second for me while I focus on the batter.

Presentation - Can I bring in the closer this year before the 9th inning starts? I always hated that I had to make a change during the inning rather than have the closer automatically start the 9th.

Dynasty - I'd love to see a stat export option where we could export our league and team stats to a comma delimited text file on our hard drive. Dynasty posting lovers could post stats so much easier than to sit and record the stats of our TV screen and write them all down.

Gameplay? - Managers. Can we protest calls and get tossed from the game based on how we protest? It was a neat feature that MVP had.

Gameplay - Collision detection doesn't seem to be in but will we be able to physically break up the double plays this year?

Yep I would love that work around. I asked earlier if they could just give us a Print option since we can just print to a USB printer hooked to the PS3.

The print option would be nice but I'm greedy (and my PS3 isn't near a printer). I want it electronically as it would require no typing! I'm good with spreadsheets and database management. I can clean things up very easily if the format doesn't change.

If they'd ever consider allowing players' facial hair to be editable at anytime? For example, last year, Giambi's mid-season mustache and playoff beards, etc.

2 questions:

1. Custom music. I know that we have batter walkup music cues... but are there any other in-game cues that we can assign audio to?

2. Are there any choppers this year? You know, high bouncing ground balls.

That reminds me of the late great Skip Caray who always would say a chopper to Chipper.

I have never understood why you never see a left handed throwing catcher. I understand the other positions with turning double plays and such. But never catcher.
