That's a good point, about that video. But you're right, probably just rendered that way to very easily showcase the new feature.

Regarding your question, I believe we've heard that the time options are still the same. but don't quote me

For what it's worth, those videos were not doctored - we simply made the transition happen very quickly to illustrate how it would change throughout the game.

For those who were at the developer site, did anyone brought up the issue about being able to import rosters or franchise saves between games? Obviously we cannot do this for MLB08 --> MLB09, but maybe in the future for MLB09 --> MLB10 so they can start thinking about the design now? Franchise mode has made tons of improvements, especially in roster moves for those who are interested in fantasy baseball, that it would be nice if we can "continue" that franchise across games.

By saving franchise saves across games and moving that over, I can hypothetically retain or preserve all of the players career stats and perhaps see a rookie one day break the hits or HR record etc, but be able to play those franchise saves whenever a new game comes out.

I know this may sound crazy, but i am curious to see what happens when i lay the controller down for a couple of minutes. I mean last year i actually busted out laughing with some of the cut-scenes that happened. I just know this year i will be saying the same thing the late great Jack Buck coined "I cant believe what i just saw"!!

So I assume the pictures and/or videos are being held back to Wednesday or Thursday so they don't step on the PS Blog entry scheduled to come tomorrow?

Well, according to what Knight said on the previous page, he is pretty sure that it varies based on time of year. So what I took from that is that early/late season games will start closer to or in the dark, which would be freaking cool.

It was sensory bombardment there and I'm going by what I think it was. I didn't write it down as I wasn't thinking along these lines.
Maybe Chris or Kolbe can pop in and tell us exactly how it is with this so nobody gets disappointed(or killed)

I wish I would have looked at the playoff games more closely for this also as when I was going in there...I was more looking for the stadium being dressed up and any new commentary to start the game. .....again...sorry.
