    Jim,

I imagine "sinkers" have more life like bite to them as well. Did you use or face Wang, Lowe, or Webb? If so were you impressed with sinkers and 2-seamers as well? Thanks!!!

So someone like Varitek doesn't call a better game than say Josh Bard would? Do you know what factors go into the pitch calling? Do they focus on the cold zone of the hitters? Do they set up outside the zone on 0-2?

I couldn't tell you the logic. I'm going to guess based on hitter/pitcher match up.
If there is one thing that I've learned from this event....Brian (the lead A.I. dev) does his homework and the logic he does put in there is from TONS of research.

When playing Legend mode did you guys pitch with or face any #4-5 starters or were you using strictly "aces" when playing? If you did use bottom of the rotation guys could you tell the difference between the pitchers (pure stuff and location)?

                Yes....
You can even tell the difference between the FRONT line #1's and the lower tier #1's from team to team.
I used a sinker pitcher against my game against Jim.....it's got bite that's for sure. I induced 4 DP's in that game(it killed him! ) and probably many, many more ground ball outs. Worked great!(and although I hate to admit it...Jim's got some serious baseball knowledge and works the game pretty darn good)

When pitching and there's a man on at second, does the catcher still only put down 1 sign or does he put multiple ones down and the pitch he's calling for is like the 1st sign, last one, etc.? (if that makes sense)

Also curious if that's vice versa - if the user is batting from the pitcher's view, can he see the AI put down multiple signs? Would be kinda kewl to "steal signs" if that's possible - which would be even more cool if the AI pysches you into a pitch and fools you completely...

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Do any of you guys envision yourselves playing a season/franchise on Legend or do you see that mode being more of a "occasional, let's see if I can handle these guys tonight in exhibition type mode?" From the sounds of it, a 162 game schedule on this mode would caue the blood pressure to go through the roof.

                        It's funny...but we(the O.S. guys) discussed this.
Every pitch...every single pitch needs total concentration. No more just slinging one in and thinking you'll get your out.
I don't know...God Bless you if you do play a full season on Legend.

Thanks guys for responding...I appreciate this alot.

                            Here are some more questions

                            1. When pitching from the catchers view...how do you see the catchers signs

                            2. Are stolen base number in franchise more realistic

                            3. splitters were the one pitch in this game that i felt were waaay too toned down. Do splitters have better bite.

From the list of things you guys have discussed it seems that they have fixed every major issue (excluding collision detection) that I have with the game.

Also...i think fewer errors is a good thing...i think there might have been a few too many errors...especially throwing errors myself...hearing that its toned down is good to me.

I noticed that fans will file out of the game early if their team is losing... I don't suppose they actually got MLB to give them permission to have varying attendance levels based on team records?

God forbid someone sees Florida's half empty stadium in a video game! (Even though we see half empty stadiums all around the league on the evening sportscasts).

I'm afraid I might get discouraged when I get out of the gate 0-32.
