Being the Dodger Fan that I am. Would it be cheating if I went ahead an added Manny from the FA list? I need some POWER in my lineup. Do you guys think he is gonna sign in all honesty? Sorry Mods but I did not want to make a thread for this question. By the way the game plays incredible. It's a lot like last year but feels so much more refined. Ok give me the answer about Manny. Thanks

He'll sign with the Dodgers. His lazy a$$ just wants to avoid Spring Training

I'll probably add him to LA if he isn't signed by Tuesday (I think I read they'll have a roster updated on Tuesday)

I wa sjust wondering if someone could post some franchise infor. For example. Can you sim a season and see who the "big name" Free Agents are and where they sign? Also check the season transactions and see who was traded? I'm just trying to see what teh logic is Thanks.

I only have one complaint. The RTTS baserunning controls suck. If you hold advance to long he'll keep running, if you let go he'll stop right ahead of the bag it's getting on my nerves

Is this a responsiveness issue, or just a "not used to the controls" issue? Meaning, do you find it too sensetive or too sluggish?

I apologize if this was covered but there are historic parks like the Polo Grounds, right? If so, any pics would be appreciated. I'm so jealous of the guys who have it already! Enjoy!

I'm not positive, but I think it only happens after the first player bats in the inning for some reason. So every other player in the inning will have his name announced this way. However, if you are playing fast play or pressing x real fast, well you probably wouldn't hear it. Honestly I didn't notice it until the 2nd or 3rd game I played.

                          But its there.

Also played a game at Citi Field, Yankees vs Mets. A LOT of Yankees fans in the crowd! Jeter gets some cheers, A-Rod total boos!

Considering the developers weren't even allowed inside the 2 new ballparks, the stadiums look amazing. Especially Yankee Stadium. All the stadiums pretty much come alive at your screen and the amount of detail is just incredible. Just makes me countdown to opening day at the stadium even more to check this place out.

Nothing from what I can tell. I didn't look at the booklet or any paperwork so maybe there's something inside but I didn't see anything on the front cover or on the plastic.

I'm doing the Road to the Show and I'm thinking maybe I should have lied HEAVILY about my age. Seems like "Retirement" is my only goal. I'm going back to my High School days and being a pitcher. I gave up a run but otherwise I went 3 innings and did pretty good. Gave up a few too many hits but got out of trouble, UNFORTUNATELY I got drafted by the Padres. I was hoping the Yankees would pick me up but they probably don't know I exist.

                            Game is fun guys.

I actually got on base, as a pitcher, but had no idea what I was doing. The ball was hit so fast I was just caught out there and didn't help one bit trying to stay out of a double play. Fortunately the guy hitting was pretty fast but like a dumbbleep I scrambled back to first like a little girl and almost ruined the whole thing.

If you count Yankee Stadium (1923-2008) as a historic park
(which I do!) then yes there are.

Just had an amazing game. Opening day. Down 2-1 in the 8th, with 2 outs i got a base hit. Wild Pitch advanced me to second then a basehit tied the game up. Finally in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs, i pinch hit Cliff Floyd (this was Padres vs Dodgers btw) and i got a single. 3-0 count i hit and run and nail it into Cox Alley and Floyd scores with a very close play at the plate. Amazing game, what was the best was the crowd atmosphere, the BEAT LA chants, the crowd on their feet at the end, awesome game.
