Any word on the supposed patch (either date it comes out or what it fixes)? And how is the new roster that goes live today?

It helps a lot for me. I always guess fastball. That way, if I guess right, I'll know if the pitch is going to be a ball or strike just based on the trajectory.
But if I guess wrong, then I know the pitch is going to break, making me more patient at the plate.

But RudyJuly2 brought up a good point about Guess Pitch. It's always 100%. If you guess fastball, and it is, it's never wrong.

He said he'd prefer if it wasn't always 100% depending on the hitter. If you have Brandon Inge, who's a .230 batter, guess fastball should it always recognize it if it is? No. The poorer hitters shouldn't always get the benefit of guessing right.

Picked up the game at Walmart on my way to work this morning, they had at least a dozen copies left. I also finally bit the bullet and bought another controller, it's insane that a video game controller costs $55!

Now I just have to wait about six more hours, lol. I'm pumped to hit the cage and try loading in some of Skyboxer's sound bites, after playing a game vs Boston in the new stadium of course.

Finally got it. Took awhile as the old man ahead of me in line decided to complain about kids playing video games for 5 hours a day and not realizing it. He's buying a game for a kid, of course.

Now I finally got it... and it's caching to the HDD. *sigh* Waiting...

EDIT: Never mind, just finished as I posted.

I gave a bunch of these to Skyboxer from HH2k4.

"How come that wasn't a strike!"

etc., etc., etc. They sound good.

Could you please check if there is any way to do a fantasy draft this year? I read about there being online leagues with drafts, but I'm hoping they finally included a single player season/franchise where you can have a full fantasy draft.

Picking mine up during my lunch break...and wouldn't you know it, the fiancee will be with her friend tonight and not home.

I didn't play the demo, but what would you guys suggest is a good level to start out on? I'm a vet of '08 and not a first-timer or anything.

Legend is the highest level, but don't be afraid, it's very very fair, but you will pay for your mistakes like you would in real life.
