Alright I tried a double switch again after pinch hitting for the pitcher. It worked fine as it should, but when I got the glitch the Cpu had subbed in a pinch hitter at the top of the inning when I was doing the double switch. I think that is where the game messed up. If I run into the same situation and the glitch comes up again I will post it here.

O yeah almost forgot there is a patch coming out around the end of next week it fixes some online issues and some glitches and bugs.

Wonder what the specifics are...

I could understand that every game is going to have minor bugs, but this one is huge. I was able to continue playing but with that stupid menu in the way and I couldnt see anything.

It did this last year as well. It only happened when the CPU pinch hit at the same time you try to do the double switch.

Some games I was able to get the menus to go away. Usually I just had to play thru it or start the game over.

Maybe not a glitch, but something pretty odd. I'm playing a spring training game in my RTTS. We're currently in inning 21. The opposing pitcher is approaching 200 pitches....

Edit: Ok. Inning 25. Pitcher still in. 212 total pitches.

It was actually Matsuzaka. He forgot he was in the MLB and on the Red Sox and though he was in a Japanese highschool tourney

The guy's arm is rubber...of course, it would have to be since he refuses to throw the ball over the plate...lol.

Had an issue of Warping/Sliding at First base in a game today:

I don't want to answer for those guys, but I'm sure they said that the audio was really hard to 'critique' because it was a busy room with 10 or 15 guys and several games going on at once.

Just got back in. Correct, we had five monitors going, all different games and a lot of background noise, hooting and such, so we really couldn't zero in on the commentary.

I guess I should report all bugs, big or small, rare or common... (the more fixed, the merrier):


I pinch hit Chris Duncan a half inning prior to pulling a double switch. I replaced him with another pitcher between innings, but for some reason Duncan was out there pitching. I said "ehh what the hell" and went on to throw a pitch that was fouled off, and then there was finally the cut scene with LaRussa calling time for the double switch, putting in Ryan Franklin appropriately. It was just weird that it took a pitch to get 'er done.

I thought this was something I was missing but now am convinced it is a glitch. You can not fire your farm director? I can not find him on my staff during year one or during the off season.

In spring training, when I go to the bullpen and select a pitcher to warm up. The innings pitched are incorrect. Ex. S. Estes has only pitched 2.0 innings buy it says 6. When you go to the player stats screen it is correct.
