Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
I thought this was bull so I checked for myself. Skipped a exhibition with the Yanks. Put in Mo and sure enough. It's true. It's AMAZING!! It follows Mo from the bullpen from behind just like on YES and the plaque on my wall. I love it so much I might have to do my franchise with the Yanks. Even though I am a huge Yankee fan I usually don't use them because they're just too good but I simply can't ignore this. Is Mo the only guy this is for. If not that would help my decision a lot.Last year, I requested that they add the YES Network entrance for Mariano and they did! It starts out with the camera at his back as he exits the bullpen, he then does the sign of the cross, does a hop-step and runs towards the infield as the camera man follows him! They captured it PERFECTLY and it sounds awesome with Enter Sandman playing! It's awesome!!
I also saw K-Rod's explosion after he saved a game against me.
I pitched a great game with CC, the game was ties 1-1 in the 8th. I took him out after a 2 out double, and when Girardi to get him, as CC walked back to the dugout the fans gave him a great ovation and he removed his cap and gave them a wave!Comment

Well, my Nats relief pitcher walked up on the mound with his glove in his pitching hand AND DROPPED HIS GLOVE. So there is realism in the game.I thought this was bull so I checked for myself. with marinos entreance does it have to be a save situation? I played a yanks exibition game at home against the sox skipped to the 9th - yanks were down 1-0 - i put him in but no special entrance just the normal cut scene when he is about to be at the mound.Comment

I think it's just save situations. I brought Mo into a game I was losing and no special entrance.Comment

I'm not sure if it's like this all the time because of the match up, but I fired up a game, Kansas City versus Florida, and there were only 10,000 people in attendance.
Now here is the kicker... I played it in Cleveland.
I wonder if I did the same game just in Florida, if there would be twice the number of people in attendance? If so, wow at the realism!
Does anyone remember how many people went to those first few games in Milwaukee when the Indians had to play there?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

So I've been watching a CPU vs CPU game for the last two hours (Cubs @ Braves), and it's the top of the 13th inning now, score is 4 - 4. It was a night game, so Hudler says, "And I think we're about to lose Soup (Dave Campbell) here. It's past his bedtime! ZZZZZZZZZZZ!"
The only unfortunate thing is commentators don't respond to each other ever. It would just be funny to hear Campbell respond with a "I heard that!"
EDIT: Wow, I don't know if this is tied into the programming somehow or not, but two batters later, Campbell groans, "Oh man, this is past my bedtime. I can't believe these fans are still here."
It's the little things!
SECOND EDIT: Game just ended in the bottom of the 13th. McCann hit a three run walkoff and the crowd went nuts! It's just awesome to see the highlights in the beginning of the game and it still being light outside.Last edited by Blzer; 03-02-2009, 02:31 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Agreed. In the Gamespot video with Houston @ LA, when Hudler gives his analysis at the beginning and Matt V. responds with "And Dave will be back with more coherent analysis", I just wish Hud would say "HEY!", instead of just taking it.So I've been watching a CPU vs CPU game for the last two hours (Cubs @ Braves), and it's the top of the 13th inning now, score is 4 - 4. Ahh, so if Matt V. happens to say what I noted above and only later does Hud start with, "And this presentation's coherent commentator has something to say!" will I believe it's tied into the programmingEDIT: Wow, I don't know if this is tied into the programming somehow or not, but two batters later, Campbell groans, "Oh man, this is past my bedtime.
