Really liking the game so far. I haven't played too much yet and I may be missing something, but does anyone know if you can get swing info in the PSP version? I assume it would give the same info as the PS3 version (i.e. jammed, chased, wheelhouse, swung early, etc) before the next pitch.

After I swing at a pitch, there is an icon that alternates with the "Guess Pitch" (R button) that shows the "play" icon and the text "Swing Info". Am I missing something? How do I access this?

      Thanks,
      Jeff

For those that are getting good realistic hitting stats, would you mind posting your settings (level, guess pitch on/off, etc). I'd be interested to hear if legend mode is the only mode with decent hitting stats or if they made the level below it playable by toning down the hitting as well.

If I remember right you access it by pressing "select"
I will verify later when I can get on my PSP.

Can anybody tell me how to get custom music into the game. I followed Skyboxers thread but could not get the files to show up. Thanks.

I second this post! The game plays so unbelievable for a handheld. Turning double plays is as smooth as silk, and breaking balls look terrific too. Now if they could just move the batters eye in Wrigley a little to the left...

I'm playing on Legend mode, with guess pitch off. No slider adjustments. Though I may bump up errors as I haven't seen any yet.

                      1.) How's online?

2.) Are there online leagues for PSP? IF so, can you mix in PS2 people?

3.) Are there custom chants? Can you take the custom music and chants online?

                      Thanks!

The 09 version is leaps and bounds better then 08 IMO I'll break it down for you

Graphics/Presentation- Greatly improved, Stadiums were nice last year but this year they are gorgeous!! improved player faces, new batting stances, new animations, new presentation overlays, a closer pitching cam(which is very awesome) noticeable shadowing and some kind of dynamic lighting really adds to the experience.

Sound- commentary great as usual and they added even more. Crowd is awesome, they chant they react, they get loud, ex.. I was playing the Rays at Tampa last night and the Rays had a rally going with two men on, and all the sudden the fans started chanting let's go Rays and started ringing the cowbells!!! very awesome.

Gameplay- This is the biggest reason to buy this game, out of the box it's great the AI is smarter and more challenging, if you make a mistake they will punish you. and it's very difficult to hit unlike last year(timing window is smaller) It's harder to pitch The meter is tighter which causes you to walk batters, I've seen throwing errors, oh there's so much improved. and Legend Mode is almost perfect IMO it's absolutely the biggest reason to buy this game.

Unfortunately man I have to get a new router, so I really can't answer much except that they do have online leagues. And the chants and jeers feature supposedly is in there but I haven't really been able to find out.
