A-Rod's career stats are down to a bug in the roster loading programs - he actually swaps stats with Teixeira, plus it skews other players as well.

I don't think the patch will fix this issue yet as we only found it yesterday (unless SCEA found it a few weeks ago). Have a look at this thread,

And you'll see how to get around the issue...it's definitely a problem at load time, not necessarily the roster itself.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. The turn around time is probably a bit longer to make the patch...unless they already knew about the issue. My guess is that the devs are all on a beach somewhere sipping drinks and relaxing. The patch was obviously completed before vacation.

This patch most likely resolves issues that were discovered between the time they submitted the final version and it actually shipped and they left.

that's one of my biggest pet peeves..why not give us an idea what changed in a little text somewhere. Never understood that, they tell us about who is where for roster updates, just include in there.

If this patch fixed things that they knew about before the game shipped how could it possibly not fix the "cpu roster control on" lineup glitch, or do they not even try season or franchise mode before they ship the game??

Only difference I see so far is that the scores on the bottom of the screen are functional now.

Installed the patch, looked at ARODS homeruns....553 (this off the default roster).
