The patch might of fixed some teams 1st base and 3rd base coaches being random generic coaches. For example if you played with a team like the Phillies you would notice that sometimes their base coaches would be correct(Lopes,Perlozzo) but most of the time be generic made up ones. This goes for other teams like the Marlins, Indians, ETC. After the patch these teams seem to have the the real life coaches.

I was hoping for this, but I went and checked, and I didn't see Perlozzo or Lopes. It was still the generic coaches. I wonder if a roster upgrade will do it?

I swear my RTTS guy is hitting the gaps more. Before the path, I would hit it on the screws in the wheelhouse and it would be a grounder to IF for an easy putout. I patched last night and almost hit the cycle in 2 cosecutice games. My player has 33 pwr, so I won't be hitting HRs often.

didn't know there was a September roster update. My calendar says March..yup, it's March, there's still snow on the ground here. haha, just messin...it should read 3-9

Actually brunno is from Brazil I believe so the date format is a little different I believe. They do day/month and year I believe.

It may be a placebo effect but I swear pitchers have become better fielders since the patch. I was getting and giving up too many hits up the middle. Since the update, IT SEEMS that pitchers are fielding more balls up the middle, resulting in less cheap hits.

that's probably cause his stats are a bit better or he's on a streak. The patch has nothing to do with it because 1-2 days before the patch, the exact thing started happening to me. 3 doubles in a game, then another with triple and double, then 2 games with home runs.

I thought this was a problem before the patch. The pitchers gobble up way too many hits back through the box and to me it's a situation where they still haven't gotten many of the pitcher's follow throughs quite right. Too many of them release the ball and then hop into perfect fielding position a la Greg Maddux or Mike Hampton.

I'm generally skeptical when people post things like this after patches, but I think I agree with this. I've seen way more fielding plays from the pitchers in both my RTTS (including two spinning backhand plays in one appearance from my CP) and in franchise.
