I just downloaded thr patch and the weirdest thing happened to me. It ignored my last game save although all the stats and energy levels for my players appeared as if the game was played. When I went back to play the game over my rotation was all screwed up. Anyone else have this problem?

I had that happen to my franchise a couple of days ago (luckily I was only a few games in so it was easy enough to start over). Now I always make sure to double save before exiting.

were you able to check swing? I want this back so bad.

Online? Not real sure since you couldn't even see the ball get to the catcher really with all the lag. I didn't seem to notice any improvement to check swings in the franchise games that I played post update either.

The patch might of fixed some teams 1st base and 3rd base coaches being random generic coaches. For example if you played with a team like the Phillies you would notice that sometimes their base coaches would be correct(Lopes,Perlozzo) but most of the time be generic made up ones. This goes for other teams like the Marlins, Indians, ETC. After the patch these teams seem to have the the real life coaches.

I am about to play my first game (my Mets @ Cincinnati) since the patch upload, the the one thing that I know for sure the patch did, was have the live major league scores zip across the bottom of the screen. That was not happening before I downloaded it.

I just notice that in the Guess Pitch Room. The Guess Pitch is Lock on "off". As before it was on "default" and you could change it.

I actually wish there was a way to turn the ticker off. I TiVo a lot of games throughout the season to watch later so I can forward through commercials (today's WBC games for example), so I don't want to know the scores as they are going on. Last year, all I needed to do was log into SportsConnect & then log back out and the ticker would go away. It appears that this year the ticker keeps going even after you log out. I can't find anywhere in the options to turn this off. Looks like, I'm going to have to remember to disable my PS3's internet connection every time I want to play The Show while recording a real game....ugh!

I kinda agree with you Hustlin' , just finished 3 games and in my head anyways it does seem easier to check swings offline..maybe I'm just getting better ??

Just had a good game 8-1 Brew Crew over SF banged out 17hits, 5 doubles a triple and 2hr. on All-Star too,default sliders (which is the highest I've gone,since it's my first real year playing) sorry...just had to share my thrill :wink:

I believe Ian (in the Madden forums) mentioned that you are allowed a freebie in terms of patches, but after the 1st one you may have to pay Microsoft/Sony? I know there was some stipulation.

That being said, since this is a 1st party title, I wonder if there is some sort of leniency there.

wow, that is going to be one huge patch cause they have a lot to fix...
