I had a problem with this on postseason. Catcher hurt placed on 60 day. Would not let me add another player to replace him even though it said I could drop and replace him on playoff roster. I had to play with one catcher.

Re: Disabled list broken?
If I remember correctly, you can only use 25 guys for your playoff roster by aug 31st, so you wouldnt be able to add anyone even though you put him on the 60 day DLComment

Re: Disabled list broken?
I was just about to post this as well. I can't figure out how this got past the testing. The WHOLE POINT of the 60-day DL is to free up space on the 40-man roster! And of course, I didn't find this out until after I had already added someone to the roster, and now I'm probably going to lose someone to waivers.
BTW: I have the updated version.“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackComment

Re: Disabled list broken?
It seems that I make this post every single year, and yet again this year, it seems appropriate. With as many things as this game does right and how great of a representation of baseball The Show is....it continues to amaze me how many little (but BIG!) bugs continually plague this series year after year. This is another great example. Just like the 'saves bug', which apparently is happening again this year where saves don't always get credited to the right pitcher. In this day and age of next generation gaming, is it really too much to ask for a baseball game to be able to keep score correctly? We all know bugs do, and always will, exist. But c'mon. These nagging injuries to The Show series are always the reason why I usally shelf this game by May or June and throw out the ole "maybe next year" line. But alas, every release is a bug-filled nightmare. You'd think that a baseball game would know how to record saves and handle rosters correctly, but maybe I'm just expecting too much. I hope you guys find a solution to this. I'm still on the fence as to whether I'm even going to buy it or not. It's frustrating, to say the least. It's only a video game.Comment

Re: Disabled list broken?
Thats pretty much my attitude toward every game. Its all about what you can and cannot tolerate. Every game thats ever been made can rack up a huge bugs and glitches thread....its just up to the individual to decide whats a deal breaker and whats not. It takes a heck of a lot for me to say "This game is just unplayable" regarding anything I play, but it has happened.Comment

Re: Disabled list broken?
Ya there is a lot in the game, but maybe SCEA should worry about getting some of the basics down first (DL management, lineup AI, correctly scored saves) instead of adding dancing mascots, custom chants, and other fluff.Comment
