What game mode did the bug happen in?
RttS (possible other modes)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
Every time the game is turned off selected fielding option (classic) reverts back to fielder.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every time the system is turned off.

Just to confirm for everyone having RTTS issues. My game was Crashing on June 20th, 2011 over and over. I used the change team SIM trick and it worked. So I would try this for anyone who is getting booted back to the XMB screen.

So far so good. I will let you know if anything happens.

Sacrifice Bunts

Oftentimes, a player will sacrifice bunt with one out in the late innings and down by several runs

RTTS

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I'm a pitcher in RTTS mode, and the other team does it. And it has happened way more than once.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Frequently

Pinch hitting

The AI is not pinch-hitting for the pitcher when it should -- late in the game, computer team is down a few runs.

Computer AI does it.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Frequently

Ranking in Organization and League

In RTTS, there is a post-game screen that shows your player's ranking within the organization and within the league. I am in my fourth season, I've made a couple of all-star teams and lead my AA league in saves. Yet, this screen always shows me as the worst closer in the organization (even when I've been promoted a few times to AAA) and the worst closer in the league. This seems to be broken.

It happens after every game

Can someone please tell me what were the main problems with the game right off the shelf. I don't need any RTTS info because I don't play it.

Not speaking about any RTTS issues, but was the only thing that patch 1.06 allegedly really fixed was the Cubs schedule?

What am I missing out on if I delete the patch and unplug my PS3 ethernet cable so I don't load it again.

I'm starting my franchise tonight and want to make sure I'm good doing it without the patch.

They fixed relievers IP in the bullpen menu. Before the patch it showed how many outs they got, not IP. You can now make uneven trades, i.e. 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 that you couldn't before. I haven't made it far enough to know if they've fixed the glitch where you didn't get draft picks for type A and B free agents. Finally, now you can fire the farm director. Those are the only changes I know of.

At that point, you will not see any post game highlights. If you go into the replay vault in the 4th inning for example, you can review the highlites. Here's the other thing, If I play 3 innings or so and then fast forward to the 9th and play the 9th inning, I do get Post game High Lites.

I second this for RttS mode. My RttS LF had a 5-6 day and the vault only had stuff from his first 4 ABs (including a solo homer in the 1st). I've heard that it's doing it on any regular mode.

Matt announces all the names on the name database. The PA announcer doesn't announce all the names.

RTTS: Advancement Goal In Game
Ok you get a goal to get ahead of the count. You throw a ball, next pitch you get a ground out but you still fail the goal. Shouldn't it just be canceled?

Bug: In RTTS, after playing in the major leagues, I'm given high dollar contracts to play in AAA. First year I was offered 4 years/4.6 million. Second year I was offered 7 years/28 million. But if these contracts are accepted, not only are you sent to AAA after Spring Training but you are also the bench/utility player in AAA. If you reject these contracts, you get automatically re-upped and become the bench/utility player for the major league team BUT the following year, you'll get the AAA contract again and have the same terrible choice. Not sure if taking the AAA contract and working your way back up will bypass the bug in the future. I'd hate to take a 7 year contract, go through 7 years and have to go back to AAA again.

I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary to trigger it. Went from AA in 2009, AAA in 2010, MLB in 2011. End of 2011 was when the bug started. I was taking 1 year contracts every year.

It's recreated every time. Simmed through the offseason about 20 times now.

Every time for me.

It only gets cancelled if the out occurs on the first pitch.

Some of you may not see this as a glitch but here it is.....

In the off season when you resign players you can sign them for 10 years 300k(30k/year). You cant do this when you sign them as a free agent but you can in the off season. You have to keep checking on them to make sure no other team has offered them a bigger contract.

It still freezes every time I try to exit a franchise game.

I've posted several times, and I keep getting ignored.

Great that all the minor bugs get the attention, while the one that breaks the game gets ignored.

Try to exit a franchise game, and it freezes on the final line score/exit/loading screen.
