What was the point of the patch??????????????????????????

It still freezes every time I try to exit a franchise game.

I've posted several times, and I keep getting ignored.

Great that all the minor bugs get the attention, while the one that breaks the game gets ignored.

Is anyone listinging?????????????????????????

Try to exit a franchise game, and it freezes on the final line score/exit/loading screen.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every time.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

During the offseason I attempt to access the "Offseason Roundup" section. The game will lock up instantly, to the point of not responding to any commands. It won't even exit to the XMB. I must must manually turn off then back on my PS3. I've only noticed this occur during certain offseasons after the in-game calendar date of January 1st. However when it occurs, it will happen 100% of the time when attempting to access "Offseason Roundup" no matter how many times the console is reset.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

The bug has occured in about 50% of the offseasons of my 10 year Road to the Show career.

Not sure if it's already been posted, but I have the occasional problem where a low line drive is hit just to left or right of either of my middle infielders, and if I use the thumbstick to position them for the play, the actual catching animation never kicks in and the ball goes past them, or in some cases, through them. I've seen it with my outfielders in rare instances as well... sort of reminiscent of a problem that used to exist in the game a couple years back. I have saved some replays documenting the problem. Not a huge deal, but when you're using all your wiles and concentration to try and win games on Legend, something like this can make you want to throw your PS3 out the window.

I'm stuck in on July 21, 2014 and every time I go to schedule my PS3 turns off... Is there anything I can do here, or am I just screwed? Trying to catch up on this thread but it sounds like I may be done with this game.

I can not take batting practice with my RTTS Hitter. Whenever I go to training the pitcher is present but the batter never comes to the plate.

Every time I have tried to take batting practice with my RTTS Hitter.

Quoting from the first poster (not counting Millenium's template). My catcher is having the issue now. He's in 5-12-09 (AAA with Durham Bulls). Playing out the cutscene doesn't work either. Somebody on the PS forums said to select "stop sim", return to RttS main menu and select "enter training" from there but that didn't work either.

This is a RttS I've had since way before the 4-27 patch. I have no desire to restart him or skip the session. I can do batting practice with anyone in the practice mode with no problem (tried it for the first time to see if it would do it there and it didn't). I have not had this happen with any of my other RttSers, this is the first for me.

Additional info: He's played six games so far in AAA (callup was May 3rd to replace their catcher because he got called up to MLB to replace their catcher [injury]) but at 2B (plays C/IF). I've also heard it does this if your last game was at your secondary position and apparently that's what's going on here.

When playing a game a screen came up showing the opposing pitcher and how many pitches he had thrown per inning. I had played six full innings. All his innings showed "0" pitches thrown except one, which showed "6". This was a SAVED franchise game that I continued later on.

I don't know, perhaps it has something to do with the saved game option?????

Weird in game save of my franchise and it booted me to the XMB 3 straight times. I logged off the PSN and it finally loaded my game.

I was simulating the rest of the play offs since I wasn't apart of it. October 29th crashes the game back to the Play Station desktop thing. I have recreated it on two DIFFERENT RTTS characters playing for the Blue jays so far

Will there ever be a fix for this Sept Bug? Getting screwed out of my RTTS has taken all interest for this game away! Very frustrating!

Best thing to do is simply skip training in September.

BTW, I've heard there is a glitch where player that were drafted in the June draft weren't removed from the list of players to be scouted until the off-season. You could scout players already drafted, and not know about it. Was that addressed by the patch?

Commentary is usually wrong. I had a graphic show up that my player hit his 5th double for the game. He was 2-4 with one double. First two batters grounded out, commentators talked about striking out the side on the third batter. Lots and lots of other wrong commentary.

Franchise and basically any ingame mode with commentary.

I hit a long fly ball to left with Nick Swisher, I was playing against the Detroit Tigers in my season. The ball looked like it was going to clear the wall..The left fielder jumped and the ball deflected up off his glove and well over the fence. They gave me a ground rule double. Later in the game Vasgersian later said during Swisher's next at-bat "He homered earlier". Has only happened once...

Would be hard to consistently reproduce I presume.

I hit a base hit to center with Troy Tulowitzki. which at that point the announcer said........

"I've seen history, the all time hit record has been broken here tonight"

this was an Exhibition game and the first time I used the Rockies

same problem RTTS veteran mode cf cubs cant get past june 7 2012 can recreate it every time because it does it every time have gone back to my last save point may 20 replayed it same result - can u adress this glitch or we just screwed

For those who are getting the RTTS crashes and franchise crashes after the new patch are these old save files from before the patch or new ones?
