Does this happen on every injury

I have seen it for one injury - the guy slide into second on a steal. There was a cut scene to show the guy (since I was on the field at the time during RTTS).

3 times now for arguing the call. It is really just any cutscene in Fast Mode in RTTS. I always hit X to get past it because I don't care, and it freezes.

What game mode did the bug happen in?
Any game mode with regular gameplay. (it may not be that much of an issue in online play due to the lag issue actually helping that the game may not recognize the R2 longer press)


How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I press the R2 button to dive for a ball for longer than a split second. The ball then throws to home plate everytime instead of to the base I am trying to throw to. Basically the R2 button is an undocumented "throw to home" button which interferes with throwing a ball to the proper base after getting the ball in your glove. All one has to do to recreate this is simply press the R2 button after getting the ball (whther you dove for the ball or not) for about a second & watch how the ball gets thrown to home plate regardless of if you press a button to throw to any other base or not.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Everytime you press the R2 with a harder press than just "flicking" the R2 to dive for a ball & come up with the ball.

2 player season mode offline (possibly franchise mode too but I have not played a franchise so I can't be sure)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
The game does not record the win or loss for the opposing player. Example... my friend & I are playing a season. He is the Yankees & I am the Red Sox. I play as his opponent using the team the Yankees are scheduled to play that day. Even though both his profile & my profile are loaded in the game, the game fails to record either my win or loss to my profile's wins & losses record. (though it will award me points to my profile if I accomplished a goal during that game)

The same thing happens if my friend is playing as my opponent (verses the Red Sox whom I control in the season) with both our profiles loaded. His win or loss is not recorded to his profile but he also gets points recorded to his profile if he accomplished a goal.

The thing is, the game seems to be programmed to record wins & losses to both profiles since in exhibition mode this feature works fine.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I can recreate it everytime just by loading both profiles, playing the game in season mode, ending the game, it only saves one profile.

In season mode, went to record a video and I could not exit so I lost all my stats....

Can you tell me the settings you where using difficutly, what team, what camera angle, and what batting stance, etc...

Difficulty: Rookie, Veteran, All-Star

Team: All NL East teams, White Sox, Orioles (haven't tried any others)

Camera Angle: Catcher, Offset

Batting Stance: Grady Sizemore, Robinson Cano, Ty Cobb

Lyle Overbay of the Jays is introduced before the game as the player to watch in the lineup chart. Happens every game so far in franchise mode. I have played about 20 games.

Fans leaving early (stadium empty) on blowout by home team at a home game. Should be the other way around. When home team is getting blown out IMO.

Fielder's Choices are being counted as hits. Man on first, I hit a ground ball to the 1st baseman (it took him a long time to come up with the ball and throw, he should have just touched the bag since he was one step away), he throws to 2nd, man is safe, they throw to first, I am safe. It is recorded as a hit, but should not be.

How often can the bug be reproduced? I have had about 5 to 10 situation where I would have ruled the play a Fielder's Choice, but I got a hit.

(Wait ... why am I complaining about this? It is padding my average )

I am unable to move forward in my RTTS season. I can not 'Sim to next appearance' nor 'sim to date' in the future.

I believe it is relative to the savefile somehow. I am certain I did not 'interrupt' a save to cause this. Willing to provide the file on request if it would help.

Every time from the save file in question. Doing a manager action such as reporting poor team chemistry and then saving a new file does not solve the problem.

I 2nd this glitch. Every time I try to sim past sept 23 in my rtts the game quits to the XMB. I have tried on 2 different ps3's and it quits on both of them.

Infield single on this one. This IS actually scored correctly, However I understand your thinking with respect to the dumb decision made by the fielder LOL. Although how the play panned out it was scored right.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? At the start of a new season, if I go to my AA roster and the starting line up has empty spots, if I try to fill in these empty spots it crashes me out of the game.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Everytime I tried to do it, it caused a crash.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Tried to fire my 3rd base coach. It doesn't matter what I do, I go in, fire him, then back out and try to hire another one. Everytime he pops back up on my coaches screen as my third base coach.

No, it wasn't. If the fielder can get you out, but chooses to try to get someone else out, it is a Fielder's Choice. The first baseman had to only take one step up, and he would have gotten me out, but instead he threw to 2nd. Any groundball to the infield where the fielder does not throw to first (and the runner going to first is safe) is a fielder's choice.
