the big issue for me is the historical glitch.
for those of us who are using Knights roster we will never have
accurate stats, the batting order means nothing, especially if guys like A Rod only have 200 HR's. Is there any way to get Knights rosters to work ? or do they need to be redone based on the newer online rosters?
it sucks because the OS community put so much effort into creating these rosters, and to have them tarnished with innacurate historical stats is a real shame!

I think you're fine if you use the new rosters. Last week's SCEA roster did not turn into a pumpkin so I think you're OK now. Old rosters are another story.

yes, because people bitching or venting is what we want to read....sony hasnt even released any info on this patch and people are crying game killer.
sony may not be able to fix the things people want. Maybe they dont feel they are glitches. Maybe that was just part 1 of the patch.....who knows. But sitting here bitching about it doesnt help anything

this doesn't help anything man. People are frustrated right now and rightfully so. Let'em vent their frustration.

I think people are frustrated because they are looking way too deep in this game. Is there a better game out there? No. Every game has its glitches, EVERYONE. If its too tramautic for you to play then put the sticks down. I am nowhere near a fanboy for SCEA but I recognize a good product and would gladly shell out another $65+ bucks again. If someone is too enamored with franchise mode then play a computer simulation or something. People are losing their minds because Todd Helton is batting leadoff in simulation games. Stop the presses!

This is still by far the best sports game that came out for PS3.

well i guess i wont be able to restart my franchise then. cuz the historical stat glitch is still there. oh well. they did fix the cubs schedule i guess for the ppl who wanted that is happy. i wonder when they will put out a list of fixes. i know alot of people were upset with the lineup logic but i rather have the stats then the lineup. cuz like i said a long time ago i look at it as the computer gets tired or if they are losing they want to switch it up to see what works for them. to me i look at it as the computer as its own gm when it comes to the lineups. so that doesnt bother, the stats and the dl bothers me the most.

Well in my opinion keep bitching about the lineups and all bc the only reported fix so far is the stupid cubs schedule(lol my bad cubs fans) but that bc they open a thread and had like a billion complain on there so SCEA fix it we didnt have enough people bitch about the LINEUPS that was our mistake grrr

I think some of us are just getting a bit aggravated for the wrong reason. This is just my personal opinion, fwiw.

I do not like the lineup glitch

I don't care about the scheduling issue.

Problem is, we dont know what issues SCEA tackled. So while some of these issues bother me, they may not have ever considered them. While taht sucks, and takes away a tiny bit from the immersion, its not like they said they would fix it, and then never did.

Enough being rational........BRING ON THE LIST!!!!!!!

lol...just trying to help lighten the mood a bit. I understand the frustration, but I am one who is not easily frustrated/stressed, so I'm sharing.

Ironically, I'm willing to bet that only adds to the stress for some (reading some annoying guy telling them to relax)...which, in turn, only adds to my desire to lighten it...lol.

I started a thread about Patch fixes and non-fixes if anyone confirms that a "fix" is/is not working please try to post it there. Let's keep patch rants here and not in there though so as not to clutter it, lol.

Guys, I'm not happy about the patch either, but lets keep some perspective on the game overall (great game) and try to be mature about it. Constructive criticism is always the best route.

another shot in the dark for anyone willing to try...

Delete the saved data utility from your hard-drive and then re-load it and see if that works. If you want, delete everything you have saved and "start fresh" and see if that works.

Worth a shot. It'd be like hitting the lottery, but might as well exhaust all options. Nothing to lose at this point.

WELL I WOULD Try this but if i delete everything i lose my markers for the music i did.
