After you sim spring training, go in and redo all the lineups.

Then, when you sim, the box scores show Helton and guys like that in the correct place with CPU roster control ON. With it off, I guess you won't be able to change the computer lineups however.

Then, for the games you play, just use the 2 controller method I stated earlier, and that takes care of that.

For historical stats, if you use any roster created using the 4/20 or 4/27 (todays) SCEA rosters, you will NOT have a historical stat glitch.

    I am good now.

Found a workaround to CPU roster control ON lineups, simmed and non simmed.
    Cubs schedule fixed.
Historical stat glitch fixed on 4/20 and 4/27 based lineups.
I am a happy camper now . Sure, it's not perfect, but it has workarounds.
Just so I'm clear. Let's assume that I am using Knight's stock SCEA roster set and playing as the Jays. Are these the correct steps:

    1. Start a new fanchise.
    2. Sim spring training.
    3. Reset all the lineups.

For every Jay game that I play, do I need to go in and tweak the CPU roster using the two controller method?

Yeah something happens on 4/20 with CPu roster control on......2 seasons in a row, my lineups stick til this date, and even when I go to the roster screen it still shows them correct.

R the new SCEAs' roster correct or do we need to make lineup changes.

Let me ask you this. I think i know the answer (its not a good one) but want to ask anyways. WIth CPU roster control on, i can change the lineups after spring training and they will stick. But CPU roster control on means no injuries, right?

I just tried to enter SportsConnect, and it says the servers are down for maintenance. We won't be receiving any help on that front for a while.

Cubs schedule is fixed for 2009 but 2010 it is not fixed and it goes back to almost all night games

I think you may have something, the lineups work until fatigue starts kicking in, then they go nuts. I wonder if we edit all the players to where they don't need rest(as sucky as that would be) if the lineups would stay.

I don't see that happening. Even maxed out guys still need rest in the game. In fact, that's a separate complaint amongst some as is...lol.

OK, haven't checked yet, but couldn't you just move him back again if CPU roster control is ON

well so far this appears to be one very lame attempt at a patch.

I found a workaround, but it's not a very enjoyable one. If you sportcast manager the game (with 2 controllers) you can set the lineups before the game. After the sim starts, you can just exit and it will simulate the game with the correct lineups. Unfortunately you'll have to do this for every single game, which would be 15x162=2430. You can also enter the game, and I think I might do this for the games I play, on the first pitch. Alot of work, but I think this might be the fix for me.

I just want to know what gameplay stuff was fixed. Rosters change EVERYDAY!! Watch real baseball if you want true to life lineups. The cpu is just trying to put its best lineup on the field at a given time......its a GAME!!!! Move out of your parents basements!!!
Things are looking up for sports gaming!
