Its post like this that hurt the community and the realtionship with the developers.

They don't have to be here...its great that they are and we get early input and give feedback that makes it into the game.

The are serious ramifications of just typing what you want on the internet when you are representing your company. Confidentiallity, integrity etc.

He gives us info as it comes without putting his *** on the line.....in todays economy you can't blame anyone that wants to stay employed can you?

Calm the hell down.

I can express my opinion in a mature manner just as much as the next guy.

In fact, if you can read, I said I appreciate the fact that he comes on here. But if he doesn't have anything concrete, he should just say so, instead of dropping hints left and right and then not coming back on here for 3-4 days at a time.

It's not a crime to...GASP....disagree with someone from SCEA.

I would assume its ok to go ahead and start a franchise. You may not get all the highlights/flashbacks, but my guess is IF/WHEN they fix the issue, it will fix existing franchises also. By holding off, you may be waiting for something that doesnt happen.

I can deal with the occassional game with no replays. Do i want it that way? Hell no, I want all the bells and whistles, but i can deal with minimal replays and hope that when SCEA fixes it, its retroactive.

There is no secrecy I post when I have updates if I don't have updates I don't post. I try to stay around the boards as much as possible, but I can't be everywhere at the same time. It also makes it that much harder when threads get off track or cluttered with pointless posts.

Trust me if it gets posted I see it if there is a problem its taken to the part of the team that can do something about it.

I only deal in absolutes the last thing I want to do is say we are going to do something and then we don't for what ever reason.

Which is exactly why this thread should be locked up and left for your updates only.

I hear you. Im already at June 5th in my Yankees Franchise and installed the patch (1.06). Im not getting the post game highlights all the time but I did sim my season to see if I would get any freezing and I didn't. I hope that is a good sign that I will be ok for the rest of my franchise. I plan on continuing to chug along with my franchise and hope that SCEA can fix the issues brought on by the most recent patch.

exactly and I wish they would not have. It was all the complaining people that caused the problem. The fixed it and it broke something else. Sometimes things just need to be left alone.

We keep demanding more, more code be put into this game and yep, add something, break something else. We can be our own worst enemy in that regard.

Next year, give me THIS game, FIXED. I'll take a roster update if everything that's in it is fixed.

But you aren't disagreeing with SCEA you want them to be on the boards 24/7 with instant responses.

He isn't paid to monitor thses boards at all. I think people are really confused why they come here.

I'll be the first to admit, i want realism, i want all the highlights, bells, whistles, flashabcks etc (are flashbacks working yet?), but if the game play still works, thats what i care about. I tend to "X" through the highlights sometimes too, especially if I get spanked. It absolutely sucks that they arent there, but i can make do with that issue as opposed to having something wonky go on with relievers, or everytime you hit a double your batter moves to 3rd or soemthing weird.

Next week sometime we are planning to release a mini patch to fix the replay issues that were caused by patch number 2. There won't be any other fixes and changes made to the game in this update. We greatly appreciated everyone's patience and help in identifying the bugs and glitches in the game that we were able to fix. We will continue to monitor any issues the community may have, so please continue to provide your constructive feedback. As always, thanks for your loyalty and enjoy MLB 09 The Show.

Exactly, it's all been said. Remember the devs cannot fix a problem unless they can recreate exactly what is causing it. They aren't sitting on their hands.

Co-sign. Does it really matter what the community posts? The only thing of relevance is what SCEA tells us at this point.

We have a bug/glitch thread to post our problems.

There should be just 1 rant/rave thread to discuss your pleasure/displeasurewith the game or developers. They can choose to read or not read that, but we should just have 1 thread only posted in by developers.

So true my friend. I do the same when im getting spanked. It hurts to watch the replays when I get my a$$ handed to me. Thought I was the only one

Jim, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave if you continue to use common sense. Consider that a warning.

I always think there should be a patch discussion thread, and then a SCEA (or EA or whoever) update thread that is locked and only they can post in there. So that way we can track what they say and any updates. Or maybe thats counter productive.

I dont know anymore, after however many pages, we are still re-hashing the same items
