I needed a bat with some pop in my Giants lineup. I made the following trades.....

Giants Trade:
Prospects Henry Sosa and Connor Gillespie (Both Solid B potential players) along with Fred lewis to Orioles for Nolan Reimold......

Great trade for both teams thus far......Lewis is batting .300 for the Orioles and Gillespie is batting over .375 for the Orioles and is tearing up the AAA batting scene....Remold is batting close to .400 and leading my team in RBI's and HR's.

Also made another trade to add power.....

Traded Randy Winn to the Reds for Johnny Gomes....

Gomes has hit some blasts for me and is hitting .255...He strikes out like crazy though...... Winn is batting .296 for the Reds.....

New York Mets get:

Texas Rangers get:
C Brian Schneider
RP Bill Wagner
2B Luis Castillo

This trade worked out for both parties as Kinsler is putting up 30/30 caliber numbers for me and Billy Wagner has 32 saves for the Rangers (I made him a closer)

My lineup looks like this

Reyes
Kinsler
Wright
Delgado
Beltran
Sheffield
Murphy
Santos

And does anybody know a first baseman prospect that can be had for cheap?

Thanks for robbing Texas. Why would we need ANOTHER catcher? Why do we need Wagner when we already have 2 closers in Wilson & Francisco?

In my Brewers Franchise I made 1 trade in Spring Training. Braden Looper for Nate Robertson. Mainly for a lower contract and to have a Major League experience SP in AAA in case of injuries. I have Capuano in my rotation and has been my most consistent pitcher.

My worst pitcher has been Gallardo. Started out 0-6, then won 5 in a row and is now back to sucking at 6-8 with an ERA over 5.00. He only has 37K's in 100 innings pitched. Even Suppan has about 20 more K's.

So with all the Peavy rumors i thought it over a ton and decided to bite the bullet hoping if I got a bonifide #1 I could move Gallardo down to #2 and he wouldn't have to perform his best every game.

I traded Alceides Escobar, Lorenzo Cain & Manny Parra for Peavy, a good utility OF'er that can also play some infield (Can't think of his name) & a fairly bad 3rd baseman to even it out and get me a guy for the minors.

I had Escobar as my Super Utility Infielder. Played nearly everyday at either 2nd, SS or 3rd. I really didn't want to get rid of him because with my roster file I didn't think Gamel was quite ready, but he has been doing fine, but he is not the super utility type and Counsell only has 6 hits in 65 at bats for me.

A side note I remade Escobar, Gamel & Lowrie into "A" potential players and released the original guys, but kept the ratings exactly the same as they were except the ones I released I dropped to all 0's.

Rangers SS Joaquin Arias, just don't screw us over We really have no need for him with Andrus now.

What he said, I traded for him in my Cubs Franchise, Theriot has been horrible, Arias has been great so far, Not alot of power but a doubles machine and he has has great speed. Traded Luis Rivas a AAA SS straight up for him, it won't take much to get him.

Try Micah Hoffpauir form the Cubs, He has some pop, Lefty that can also play RF, nice to have off the bench, I think he's 28-29 yrs old.

I took your advice.

I traded AAA SS Edwin Maysonet, AAA SP Polin Trinidad and a AA OF for him.

I tried to make it fair. Maysonet isn't that far behind Arias in ability, and Trinidad is a really promising young lefty (in reality and my franchise as well)

I threw in the AA of mainly to clear roster space so I could sign a prospect from free agency.

All and all I love this trade from a Mariners perspective filled a lot of holes. I was shocked when they accepted it.

Did the CPU offer you guys trades or did you be the aggressor and propose the trades yourself? Around what date can I expect the CPU to make me a trade offer? Its about July 25-26 in my Franchise and I have not recieved an offer yet. I got Jason Giambi (262 AVG 27 HR 61 RBI), Justin Duchserer (8-5 3.54 ERA), Nomar Garciaparra (303 AVG 17 HR 46 RBI) on the block but no team seems interested even though I look at the rumour mill and see that teams are.

I'm not sure what triggers it, but I have been getting repeated trade offers for RP Doug Brocail. I do not have him on the trading block, but at least 5 teams have approached me about him.

I didn't get Pedro, but the Tigers signed him after my first year. He was an All-Star in year 2 and won 15 games I believe with an ERA of under 3.00.

This year, he's struggling a little bit more as he has an ERA of over 5.00, at least he did before his last start. I'm not sure of his record.
