I picked him up and he's one of my best pitchers, he's also a blast to pitch with something about him makes striking out hitters a breeze. As a bullpen guy I would bet he's awesome.

I'm thinking of seriously pulling off a deal that would send Khalil Greene and Taylor Buckholz to the White Sox for Alexei Ramirez and a prospect catcher.

This would greatly free up money to make additional moves as I make the playoff push, as I only have $2.5M in free money for trades. Hampers the ability to take on that big contract.

It would also give me a leadoff hitter, which is something that I haven't had in my first 2 years. (Schumaker not a true leadoff hitter)
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

The ChiSox having him hitting leadoff this year in my franchise and he's hitting .330 something, and he does have speed which is something that my Cardinal club isn't blessed with. So I'm seriously thinking of making this move to have a true leadoff hitter and moving Schumaker to the #2 hole.

The only thing that is hanging me up is the fact that Greene is a better defensive SS than Ramirez.

Yeah. He is more of a "You better start hitting home runs or justifying your strike outs will become impossible" hitter, irl.

                I.e. probably 6th.

                  Royals get:
                  Jorge Cantu
                  Taylor Tankersly
                  Emilio Bonificio

                  Marlins get:
                  Miguel Olivo
                  Kyle Farnsworth
                  Ryan Shealy

May not be the most even trade, but after some of these real life trades I've been seeing, it seems realistic.

                  Royals get:
                  Brandon Erbe

                  Orioles get:
                  Mike Jacobs

Well that too, but the point I was trying to make is that he doesn't understand the concept of being a no. 2 hitter.

His job is to advance the leadoff hitter, instead he just free swings. He doesn't care if it is a steal, he will foul it away, wasting a good jump.

I also signed Timlin, Has an era in the low 2's, his best 2 strike pitch is the cutter at full meter.

Timlim is great, yeah, In my franquise he has an ERA lower than 1 (only 2 runs earned), more strikeout than innings played (Hard thing in this game) and very few Walks. At 42 age. I think I gonna make him starter pitcher
