Rangers get:
Nady... Hughes... Jackson

Would this be fair/realistic? I would be interested in Teagarden bc Im sure Posada is in the twilight of his career and I will be needing a good replacement soon.

The Royals just traded an A potential catcher to the Tigers for Carlos Guillen. The Royals are battling for 1st place with the Indians.

I agree....but you could then move a MLB ready catcher to a contender who is weak there.....still have a MLB ready catcher for yourself....and another good potential prospect.

It would be my second choice...

....and no way on Teagarden going to the Yanks in that deal unless it was like stated...with Montero, Jackson, Nady and Hughes coming back.

arrggghhhh....I'm wanting another LH reliever for the bullpen, but am having trouble getting any of the "sellers" to pony up good relievers for top prospect players.

The Orioles have Rafael Perez on the block but won't take anything that I've offered them thus far. I threw Jon Jay(2009 rookie of the year hitting .323 in the majors) at them, they need an outfielder, and they turned me down.

I threw Jay and SP Blake Hawksworth at them and they turned it down. Why have him on the blocks O's, tell me what you want, if you're not going to deal.

I love this game.

The Mets have the best record in baseball this year(my 3rd).

I'm offering...

OF Jon Jay - he was the rookie of the year in 2009 and is hitting .323 right now at the break in the majors. He's a B potential player but has the attributes of a top tier player(he is my 3rd best outfielder outside of Ludwick and Ankiel).

SP Blake Hawksworth - AAA pitcher with a lot of upside. Has a losing record this year 4-6 but his ERA is 3.4ish. He's a B potential but has improved dramatically in my 2 seasons.

SP/LR Brad Thompson - LR on the major league squad. Has his struggles this year, but his numbers are respectable. He's spot started in 3 games and went 6+ in all his starts and was 2-0.

SS/UT Ben Zobrist - playing in the minors due to poor performance. Still has upside and could be a good assest to anyone that could use an all around player.

Thats the 4 guys I'm really shopping around. I'm not willing to give up too much because I am on the playoff push. I'm 10 games up on the Cubs in the Central and don't wanna jeopardize what I have going by making a huge shakeup on the major league level.

Relievers are WAAAAY too valuable to the CPU. I've seen the Yankees trade Jackson for John Garbow, and the Mets trade F-Mart for Travis Miller. /facepam

I've been able to get relievers in the past, but its hard getting a good LH reliever this year. I'm mainly after Rafael Perez who is with the Orioles now, and they are wanting more than I'm willing to offer at this point.

I've still got 2 weeks before the deadline, so I'm going to see if I can't get them to lower there price or see if something else becomes available. Reyes is my only lefty in the pen right now, and my prospects aren't ready to pitch in big time situations right now.

I made a blockbuster deal in my Cardinals franchise. I traded Ryan Ludwick, Ben Sheets(Free Agent Signing) and Troy Glaus to the A's for Matt Holliday, Brett Anderson and minor leaguer Michael Inoa.
