I'd like 2 be able to play with my buddies on the same team at different positions, not just on online play. Like the old days multi-player baseball games on exibition, season mode and franchise mode.

The hair option.. The fade is horrible, it's not even a fade. Also, add dreadlocks. And an option to change the length of the hair.

Add like a 'Composure' effect. Kind of like confidence I guess, but this would drag on through the whole season. For example, if a player plays for the Yankees, add a certain amount of points, if he is in a slump, add more, etc. etc.

Have "categories" for RTTS. For example, if you want your player to be a lead off hitter, you could select that option, and he would have goals based on that. And also for RTTS, how about you don't lose any points on your stats if you don't upgrade them, only lose points on those stats in the offseason..

        Bring back the 08 call-up screen, with MLB-AAA, MLB-AA, AAA-AA, and add a 40-man roster with those.

Also, in franchise, make like a "non-active" roster, so every team doesn't have exactly 75 players, and then you could trade more players for one, instead of just one for one trades..

Give us a choice on the type of swing system we would like to use. Timing only, ZONE, Cursor, analog stick, etc...

Something i have always wanted to see in a baseball game...is make the all star break more interesting...what ever happened to the home run derby? not only in game modes, but also through the course of the season in either franchise mode, or RTTS. if your RTTS player is good enough to be selected for the home run derby, give him big points for training...and even more if he wins.

also woul dlike to see more arguing with the umpires...on my terms...not when the game makes me do it. the game asks you about umpire personalities...i turn it on...but what does that even mean?

also, give us the option to talk players into not retiring. its not very fun when the big names in the game retire after 2 seasons. they get old...but atleast give is the option...for example chipper jones had 494 career homers in my franchise and he retired...would have been nice to see him get 500

              Kind of a nitpick here. . .

I notice, especially in nite games, that there seems to be a distinct white outline around the bat most noticeable if the bat is black in color.

It really looks funny, almost cartoonish. I understand that may be some lights reflecting off of it, but it seems overdone.

I also notice this during day games when it is shady out.

MLB 10 The Show - Improving on Perfection

First off let me say that MLB 09 is the best sports game I've seen and played. A near-perfect marraige of tight gameplay and astounding visuals. Im sure the team at SCEA is not going to rest on its laurels. I had a few ideas as I was playing on what to do for next year's game:

                1) Commentated highlights. I love the highlight reels after each game, but it would be extra nice to have those clips narrated in a post game wrapup show.

                2) Live weather conditions. Have the ability to play a game that is on the real MLB schedule with the same lineups, time & weather conditions.

                3) Out of Town Scores and Highlights. It would be sweet to have a ticker in franchise mode that showed "live" scores from other games taking place in our season. Perhaps even having a presentation option to turn on/off Out of Town Highlights. When "on" the game randomly cuts to a SportsCenter Update between innings to show what's happening around the league. Having this commentated would be amazing. Very immersive for Frachise players.

                4) Pitch Tracker Review. Maybe not the best name for it, but to have the game randomly recap the pitch sequence of a particularly crafty or lengthy pitcher/batter battle. Like they do in TV broadcasts, show quickly a pitch by pitch recap of the at bat and analyze what happened. "Lackey uses fastballs up and in to set up the outside changeup." or "Ramirez fights off 4 tough pitches and finally gets the one he wants for a base hit."

                5) More cameras. The one thing I really love about MLB 09 is the camera work. Looks amazing. Please add more camera options to enhance the broadcast aesthetic. Blimp cam to give those dramatic overhead shots. Improved editing of replay angles to mirror a TV broadcast. Allow the manual "replay" camera controls to have an option to raise/lower the elevation of the camera. Id like to see some of my replays from higher up.

                6) SportsCenter Shows. What would be cooler than watching a "This Week in Baseball" type show that highlights what is happening around the league in Franchise mode. Review the standings, streaks, show highlights, injuries, upcoming matchups on a daily or weekly basis.

Great work on 09. Looking forward to seeing what's in store for 10.

I like number 2. If they do this I hope they can accompany it with retractable roofs.

i actually think the first part of #2 is already in the game. If you look at the Scoreboards in the park, im pretty sure they said those are live scores of games in your season from around the league.

Retractable roofs would be great - nothing like playing a game in the skydome in April and you get that commentary: "Hope you brought, your parkas, it's a chilly 38F" or whatever. Would love to see the dome close.

(What the hell is 38F anyway...the game is in Canada! )

                          1) Improve the fielding. It's better but still has plenty of room for improvement.

                          2) Make the throwing meter more responsive and have a winder range. In MVP if you'd just tap the button and use the minimum power in the throw meter you'd barely be able to reach first base from second base, it'd be a loopy, slow toss. In MLB 09 there is basically A) All out gun B) 90% gun. Expand that range.

                          3) Make the PCI/cursor true and eliminate its randomness. Right now if I get on top of a ball I can still hit a towering home run and vice versa. When I look at my swing analyzer after a HR sometimes I my PCI will be pretty off. This is also frustrating when you get wheelhouse/perfect and hit a little dinker to 2B.

                          4) Improve the base running, I have auto base running turned on this year.

Don't want a danged thing added until all bugs/glitches are out of this game. I'd take that.
I hope SCEA listens to no one here. Sorry.....

                              1. A-level teams and Rookie level teams for franchise, not RTTS.

A very good idea for franchise. I don't think anyone wants to spend 6 years making it to MLB in RTTS.

                              2. The ability to design your own stadium

                              3. Put international signings in the roster updates after July.
