Re: Will the game still have the same low fielding camera?

All the old fielding cameras are in the game. Difficulty levels are the same but now you can choose separate difficulties for pitching and hitting.

Will we see CPU signing free agents during the season?

This is something that has always annoyed me and that's the CPU not signing anyone in the free agent pool DURING the season. They let guys rot until they retire in the OFF-SEASON due to "poor free agent market".

I remember in MVP 05 the CPU signing mostly all the big free agents (to unbelievable deals) but they signed them anyway.

Will we finally see this in The Show this year?

If you play this game in 1080 is there still any lag?

Last year if i played on a 50 inch 1080 there would be a timing difficulty, especially at yankee stadium. When i would play the same game at my friends who's tv was 720 everything was great. Anybody have that problem last year and if so do we know if it has been fixed?

I never had a problem playing MLB 09 The Show on 1080P.

I preferred 1080P and would only play it that way because in 720 it seemed to make everything fuzzy and almost out of focus, even though in the load up screen it says the game was optimized for 720.
I will see you at THE SHOW!!

720P adds Anti-Analyzing to the graphics and it removes a little of the jagged edges around things and also improves the visuals nicely.

I know with 1080P on, the ads in the stadiums are much more clearer and scoreboards are too but 720P is the way to go.

Can you zoom out or in from btp Camera angle?

I never played the show before. i always been a MVP guy who always modded my own camera views. I am wondering can you adjust the camera view by zooming in or out from behind the pitcher?

I dont like the camera too zoomed in. I prefer zoomed out where i can also see the umpire near the second base bag from behind the pitcher.

                Is Anti-Analyzing anything like Anti-aliasing?

I'm only speaking from personal experience but I have a 46" Samsung LCD and haven't noticed any lag.

You can't edit views, but "OUTFIELD" view is definitely the way to go with the Pitching Cam. It's more zoomed out than "PITCHER" view and you'll see the ump.

Yeah, I have to agree. I've played 09 on my 32" Samsung (720p) and my 42" Philips (1080p) and didn't notice any lag on either.

Now online is a different story...

                        Quick question...(I searched the threads)

Does this game(MLB The Show PS3) has progressive player fatigue and if so, how is it?

Also how is the player morale feature?

                        Thanks in advance!

progressive fatigue....yes..it was in last year.

                          Not sure about morale.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

So if I set the difficutly at all star it will still be for both the pitcher and batter?

You can set different difficulties for both hitting and pitching from what I understand. For example, if you are really good at pitching, but not as good at hitting, you could set pitching on Legend and hitting on All-Star. If users want both difficulty levels to be the same, the can simply set both hitting and pitching to the same level (ie both Hall of Fame, both veteran, etc).
