In real life, if players aren't liking the calls of the umpires, they will generally say something to them. Those players who argue respectfully and not all that often tend to get calls their way the next time a close one happens. So it happens all the time in real life where arguing with an umpire will benefit the person arguing. There just comes a point where the player argues too much or too emotionally and it gets them tossed.

I'd say its more choice of words (think bull durham) but also if its visual. You can argue balls and strikes at the plate all day long, but if you turn your head back towards mr. blue.....bad things happen.

I have a question, not sure if it goes here tho or if it had already been asked, so pardon my error if I am wrong, but does anyone know how stats will be tracked for your user profile(s). Such as, my profile last year saved stats for EVERY GAME. Including ones I didn't play in RTTS. I was a SP, so I only pitched every 5th game, give or take. But for the 4 I didnt pitch between, all that stuff added up on my profile too...or if I simmed a few games in my franchise. I'm just hoping it only takes into account the games you played or appeared in. Obviously I loved 09, so I'm not gonna have a breakdown if not...just curiosity. Thanks to anyone who can answer, and to the guys who went to CD you guys are awesome, the devs are awesome...and I'm dying for 10 to drop lol.

Ive heard the umpire story of a manger showing the umpire how "big" the fish he caught was with his hands...ump tossed him..to the crowd looked like he was gesturing how badly the ump missed the call...lol I just find that the same players that are complaining at the begining of the game are generally still complaining at the end of the game..do you know how livid the opposition manager would be if he saw the ump changing his calls because a player said something?

I was wondering, with active bullpens and dugouts, does that mean every time we bring in a reliever we will see one less player in the bullpen and one more in the dugout?

can anyone list the different pants options for 2010?

this is one thing that i always look at first, i like to be able to adjust the baggyness and whatnot... i know its wierd, but i was just wondering

from some screens it looks like there are the regular, low and baggy from 09, but it also looks like there are different "baggyness levels" for each of those styles... so i am curious

Stadium and crowd interactions Q?

I know that several people have posted that there will be Thundersticks and towels in certain stadiums, but as a die hard Rays fan i was wondering if anyone has any info on cowbells?

They have been a staple of The Trop for the past 2 or 3 years now and i definitly think they need to be a part of the game. Hopefully someone has the answer! Thanks!

I have heard cowbells in this game at Tampa before. I was playing in season mode and I heard them.

Ive heard them before also in last year's game, but they werent put in correctly. They usually start them in situations like 2 strikes on a batter..... Hopefully they have fixed it so that they really match up instead of just hearing them randomly.

You will hear a few more Tampa Bay cowbells if they contend for the AL East this year.

Is there any news on the other positions for RTTS like new and different plays or just the same plays as last year?
