Looks good guys. I was wondering if they got Rangers Stadium right. With the fireworks and the left field wall should be digital and not manual. Thanks.

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions

It seems no matter the game, every year, especially now with "community day" becoming a new popular form of marketing, we're losing our ability to be objective.

I don't want community members coming back with 110% glowy comments on how wonderful everything is. I don't want a commercial, I want both the good and the bad so I can get a clear idea of whether or not it's worth it to upgrade.

It's hard to get that objective feedback more and more these days. Especially here.

I didn't read a single post from the community day people that was critical in even the most remote way.

Probably because they didn't find anything to criticize yet, I don't see community days as a form of marketing, rather a form of developer-user interaction to make a better product.

          1) After each player's first at bat you will see their updated season stats as they approach the plate just like it was done in MLB 08. That had been taken out in MLB 09. Very happy to see that.

Awesome news... Couldn't comprehend why they took that out last year.

for anyone that played as the Cubs, does Alfonso Soriano have a new batting stance?

              3) If you're a batter in RTTS you can take part in pre-game batting practise. I don't believe it effects your attributes.

I love this, I said " I wish I could do batting practice".

Knight, if you get a chance, can you expand on that? Do you mean they can't cut budget to below a certain amount, or that each club has to hold money back for the start of the season, transportation, etc.?

What about players advancing to third that have no business and resulting in a lot of put outs

Like the additions of Franchise mode. Is there more stats this year than the 6 that were kept in years past? Can we go back and look at them from year to year?

Ok here we go, let me ask you a question. Have you purchased Madden, NCAA football or basketball, NBA 2k, NHL 2k or EA at any time during the last 3-4 years? If you have then you would not be wasting anything if you were to buy the show this year. There is a whole thread on the additions and thoughts of the guys that are at SCEA and there will be more as the week goes on.

My heart is racing with excitement more than on the day I got married. Just don't tell my wife.

That is great that you can injure players now. I just wonder when they do their weekly roster updates, will the players that are on the DL actually be injured or will they be put in AAA.

Also love the sounds of having different stat overlays pop up. There are so many of them in today's sports, that playing 09 didn't seem right in that regards.

Oh, and to the guys who say they will not play the demo, I call BS!!! Haha!! Good luck with that!!

Please don't address LuckyChucky...doing so will only take this thread off topic and too a place that is all too common on other forums here at OS.

Just ignore him and move on.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

On topic...loving the new addition of stats during the game. On deck hitter, how teams are doing in situational hitting..etc...really adds to the presentation of the game.

Now if only that score ticker in franchise mode made it in.
