I don't know what version you are playing....but you can save a franchise game in any inning and resume it from that point.
I believe the pitch totals and stats are all correct also.

I believe he's talking about when you re-load the game after a saved game if the pitcher has already thrown 30 pitches during the first 3 innings the inning-by-inning graphic will not show how many pitches he threw in the first 3 innings. Personally..I wish we didn't lose the game highlights when you save.

OK, all of this is ridiculous. Ridiculously awesome, that is! I really didn't think so much would be added this year, and the CD team has only scratched the surface.

Nice to have dried out.

Seeing the catcher throw off his mask coming from behind homeplate to field a bunt is nice.

Many of the homerun trots are the full version, you'll see the batter rounding all bases.

Extra base hits, definitely very noticeable, balls down the line richochet off the corners, but these extra base hits seemed to be no problem with sliders set at default.

The thundersticks in the playoff games are LOUD, and many!

Just curious, as Im sure many others are too, the big question is has the fielding dynamics been improved to the point to better utilize player's actual fielding ratings and does the game now tie them into the animations and player controls with more of an organic feel?


Last year, too many mediocre and poor fielders were making those annoying sweeping ballet style Derek Jeter scoop and throws on the run.

Also that sliding one knee backhand and fire for the out shouldnt have been so prevalent

I'm really hoping there's a much greater variety of fielding animations and booted balls and throws in the dirt for both infielders and outfielders. Also, add some more variety in the close sliding plays on stolen bases and plays around the bases. This is the stuff that keeps baseball exciting and fresh all season long

Any news on this?

Another nice welcomed addition (again, not sure if any of the guys posted this yet)...

Sounds of The Show:

They have expanded the Sounds of the Show feature by including the ability to assign custom audio for several team specific areas.

Some of those will range from team wins, pennant wins, World Series wins, home run music, strike out music, away team errors, to inning specific music (i.e. 7th inning stretch), and more.



Im officially pumpeddddd...cant wait to hear "taking care of business" when i win at home with the mets...and "lazy mary" during 7th inning stretch

may have to put in "Baba O'Reilly as my song for winning the world series...that would just be fantastic

Its not after realease. It would be when you are charging the ball. A specific example would be a ball hit to CF and the runner over-runs 2nd base....if i already pre-locked my throw to 3rd and i see the runner going back, why can't I change it to get the guy going back to 2nd? Ever heard of a backdoor throw?

There are no back doors in baseball!

Wow! 107 generic stances?? What about pitching deliveries? And are there many more in addition to the generic ones? Have you noticed any stances/deliveries that have been edited and are more accurate?... namely, Papelbon's? Please give more info on this when you can. Could you guys possibly check out the new Target Field if you haven't done so yet? Would enjoy some feedback, and if the old school logo in dead center is involved when a HR is hit, I believe it is going to light up or something of that nature when a HR is hit by the Twins this year.
