Trust me, if it were something that would sway the game towards being unrealistic, I would have said something. The way it is now there is an incredible balance between player input and player ratings.

The difficulty levels have an incredible balance. If you would like there to be more of a strength geared towards user input, you can always lower the difficulty for hitting and keep your pitching at a high level. But at the higher levels, user input has a smaller window and you really see a player's ratings come into play.

Delicious. Something you don't see in sports games. Madden one year [07?] had it, and you mostly see this in RTS games on the PC. I cant wait to see it in action.

Speaking of Batting Practice, Can we change a hitter to use without having to leave the mode and change the hitter then go back in? It would be nice if we could pick like 3 guys and the pitch amount, then hit the cage.

I would also like an option to just continue hitting with no set number of pitches.

Pretty sure the BP accessed from the main menu is the same as last year.

RTTS is different, as Brent has probably mentioned - you actually get to take some swings prior to the start of a game. And the game starts up immediately afterward with no loading wait.

Great bit of information. Just what I wanted to hear as well.

As for the outfield throws, if it doesn't make it by gold status, there is still a chance it could be included in one of the first patches, I would assume. Either way, I think everyone holds the button down in the deep outfield, hehe.

I did....and I'm not blowing smoke up Kolbe's *** here...but I know he did everything he could to get the scores on the drop down ticker.
My personal belief is they will make it in...but I'll be happy(for now!) with the fact that the drop down ticker is in and shows a lot of information and you will get the scores from around the league in the 3rd/7th/9th(sometimes) inning breaks.(this actually looks pretty cool)
I'm still feinding for my in game franchise ticker though!(icing on the cake!)

It's like it's off for the regular season and then on for the off season.
First...the rosters must ship with the FA on there from the roster cut off date....there are a lot of highly rated players there.
If the CPU were to start signing....you get the picture.

Now....I will argue with Kolbe that with 30 team control this year...that really won't matter......so maybe we can convince them for next year....the guys that want fantasy franchises...will get them....FULLY...the guys that want to control everything can and we still will be able to mix and match.
