At first I was like, cool they added this, then I was like, I never seen one close to be reviewed while playing '09 ... till two days ago.

I was playing and Texiera hit a ball down the RF line I knew was foul by a couple of feet. They called it a HR, but I was sure as *blank* it wasn't.

So yeah, I am glad it is in now.

As for the outfield throws, if it doesn't make it by gold status, there is still a chance it could be included in one of the first patches, I would assume. Either way, I think everyone holds the button down in the deep outfield, hehe.
Holding down the meter the moment the ball is hit into the outfield is now a risk vs reward mechanic. If u do this your player will go into the "throw ready" position and then launch the ball. It will be a very good and accurate throw based on the players ratings. But and this is a big but there will be a delay in his throw. That's the rick reward wih preloading to early. You get a great throw but you are penelaized by a delay. In contrast you can wait and try and time the meter to fill up as he catches the ball. Time it perfectly and you will trigger a smooth transition throw based on the players ratings. Miss it early you get a duck depending on how early you where, miss it late and you trigger a throw ready throw. Same goes for infield hits its all about timing and preloading the right throw.

Yep! First Brent had one on his monitor that I caught a glimpse of, and then I had one later in one of my own games! It really was never in doubt from the camera I was using, but was very nice to see nonetheless.

Deep fly ball down the left field line that misses the pole by a few feet. Custscene plays showing the umpires getting together and starting to walk off the field, and then a replay is cued up that shows the play clearly. Cut back to the umpires, call is made for a foul ball, and the game continues. Commentary by Matt in the background describing what's happening (though I couldn't hear it too well with all the other noise in the room). Maybe would have been nice to see some manager interaction, but it's the first go at this and I think they did a pretty good job.

I have not yet seen one called fair, but I didn't see a just barely fair HR anyway. I'd bet on there being a "fair" review sequence also.

....And before anyone asks, no, you don't see the umpires actually enter and leave the dugout, the scene cuts just before and after that.

Does the screen still cut to a different screen in the middle of throws? Like if a runner is going home and scores, but the relay throw is in mid-air, in 09 the screen would just cut to the replay already....it was so annoying!

Actually a few times the cut-off man airmailed it home but the screen had already cut to replay while theball was in flight. Would have been nice to advance my runner.....

please answer these questions. Will MLB 10 The Show have the sounds that are at the real MLB Stadiums? Like for exsample the Tomahawk Chop at turner field , The Home Run siren sounds in new york , cleveland, and other teams as well? And will the drum guy at progressive field be in the game or someone that looks like him?

              Two questions:

Someone that played at Turner Field, does the electronic banners actually move?

And, is Matt Diaz's stance correct, (Where he leans back before every pitch)

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions

I mentioned to Jim in a PM that it's great news that there are 107 generic hitting stances. He said he was going to try and confirm the amount of generic pitching deliverys. Did that area of the game get love as well? I hope that the pitcher deliverys non-generic as well got some work. I hope we don't see anymore of the short arm animations where the pitcher leads with their elbow and it appears the ball is released from their elbow. Example: Ricky Nolasco or Zack Grienke for 2009.

Also, I'd like to add to the point that it appears a hitter makes perfect contact without a solid hit as a result. As mentioned, attributes are a huge part of it as I would venture to guess a hitters hot and cold zones play a part in the results. I suprised this has become a topic of discussion since I think it's done perfectly.

Sounds like a great new addition to the fielding/throwing. Will it help anything if you are already in the proper position to field/throw the ball?? IE I'm the CF and am attempting to throw out a runner going to 3rd. Will it matter any if I lined my body up so when I make the catch I am going towards 3rd base?? Hope this makes sense.

I did not see any runners wearing gloves while on the base paths. Umps appeared to still be in short sleeves.

To be honest I was only paying attention to the tomahawk, sorry.

Don't know about Diaz's stance. Not all the stances were in yet either.

Yea, i just think Turner Field wasn't all that great in 09, i mean, nothing really looked at all like it does in real life. the stands didn't look right, there wasnt the moving tomahawk above the jumbo tron, no cow (or dalmation lol) no bottle of any kind, just empty space, the back stop looked empty, dugouts looked like crap, so, i just some stuff fixed, they already got a lot done with it, im happy, but i still have questions not answered.

Three questions: How does progressive field in cleveland look in this years game? Will the drum guy be in the game this year ( the guy that pounds a drum when the tribe gets a rally going? Also will the home run siren sound that the indians use at progressive field be in the game this time around? Thanks
