Jim - did you ever see shadows of the clouds on the field?

Hmmmm. I can't say, BUT, thinking back I saw shadows for sure and took a screenshot in one stadium (CF), but really can't tell you if they were from clouds. So, not sure, really didn't cross my mind on that one.

One last question (and you may remember me bugging you about this more than once)

Can you assign any name you want as a first or last name from the databases? Meaning a first as a last or vice-versa?

For example, if a guy who's last name got added, but first name didn't (we'll call him "Pierre"...hint, hint) wanted to use Juan Pierre's last name for his first name (hint, hint), could he select it and die happy (one more "hint, hint" for the road)?

Thanks...I assume you guys were playing in 1080p?

Don't think so. We had LCD monitors and one SONY (big one, maybe 56") that the game really looked great on, but the rest were like large computer monitors.

Yes sir it was for both cpu and Hu , Pitch speed , Errors , arm strength ect .
But I wanted to know if its now seperate for 10 ?
Thanks Jim hope Im not a pain but I was dying to know as most are excited about being able to have seperate game skill levels for Pitching and Hitting this year

There are separate skill levels for hitting and pitching. I was actually playing some games on ROOKIE with the CPU on VET. (for the swing only guys) and it was by no means a hitfest for me.

Did anyone watch the game CPU v CPU. How is the ball speed off the bat this year. In the past I thought line drives were sometimes a bit too fast using the high fielding cam view. I tinkered w.sliders to alter this but other aspects of the game suffered a bit as a result. Are any of those changes under the hood addressed this?

So if anyone was planning on using a version of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" for the 7th inning stretch and if its longer then 20 seconds like mine is then you are out of luck


This is a real bummer!

How long is the 7 inning stretch in this game?

Come on Mike, a REAL bummer with all the things they've added, lol. The game jumps forward between ALL innings.

If allowed can you give any insite on the adjusted Pitcher Confidence ? dont know much but I believe I saw something that said technique played a bigger part this year.

Rained for 3 days straight in Phoenix. We've had more rain in the last 3 days than we had all last year.

Wednesday night, when we had a brief respite, I walked back to the hotel to get my car so that, if it did rain, I could transport the guys back to the hotel and they wouldn't get wet. I mean it had really been coming down HARD. Well, I got about half way there, it's a couple hundred yards, and God saw me out in the open and let me have it. The sky opened up and it pounded me the rest of the run back to the hotel.

Oh, the horror.

I don't mind it jumping forward for all innings except the bottom of the 7th. It would be nice if we can hear the whole "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" song with the camera showing the fans standing and singing along.

How cool would that be?

20 Seconds is just to quick for the 7th inning!

Well maybe I will get this for MLB 11 The Show

But having said that I am still blown away by alll the new features being added to MLB The Show this year!
