Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
I asked because last year one of the attendees shed a tear in the studio but your response was funny nonetheless.Comment

re: Community Day Questions, Answers, and Impressions
Was there any discussion about online play...specifically about improvement to the lag online? I know it's not something you guys could test, but curious if it was talked about at all and how confident they are about the game being improved for online.Steam: BahnzoComment

The game winning one will more than likely play the whole time until you leave. Just as it plays a song from your play-list over the loudspeakers at the end of the game now.

re: Community Day Questions, Answers, and Impressions
Speaking of that.... Did anyone happen to notice if they removed the scrolling billboard adds with white backgrounds to prevent the ball from blending into the background
If you were one of the few people like me that actually likes batting from the outfield view then you know in some stadiums it was close to impossible to see any ball pitched from a left hander because the ball would blend into the white billboard adds making it impossible to see the location of the pitch
If anyone doesn't understand what I'm talking about and needs an example just play a day game in S.F. or Toronto and face a left handed starting pitcher while batting from the outfield view and you'll eventually see the white billboard add problem I'm talking aboutComment

Not at Wrigley. Playing a Harry Carry 7th inning stretch would be perfect for every game. I plan on still finding a way to do it. What would be even better is if we could put several different versions of "take me out to the ballgame" and have it randomly pick one.Comment

re: Community Day Questions, Answers, and Impressions
I have played around the same number of games at Wrigley in '09. It does not happen for every away home run, like it should, but there is a cut scene where they throw the ball back from the bleachers into left field and the fielder has to retrieve it. Probably, pressing x too much to get back to the pitching and hitter. It would be incredible if they put fans in the bleachers throwing the ball back in real time. I liked all the cut scenes personally so I am not sure how well I will like them being taken out for the real time presentation.Last edited by CubsHOF; 01-23-2010, 02:22 AM.Comment

I don't know if this question should be posted here or on the "Questions for Community Thread" but, was there any crying this year?
Seriously, I'm really surprised by what nem said about the throwing meter. I was really expecting little to no change. If it works as he said, and I know it does, it's going to be great. Hoping to see some full writeups from EVERY one of the privileged ones who paid SCEA to be there."Life is like baseball, it's the number of times you arrive home safely that counts"Comment

Both are found in a new "presentations" menu. Fast play has been moved there as well, and it's also the same as before.Comment

Just a clarification - the cutscene style is still there. It's called Broadcast in the menus. Everything you're used to in past years. RTP is a completely separate choice.

Did you like the new RTP? Which do you find better, the older cutscene setup, or the new RTP one?Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Question: I'm not sure if you guys used the Padres.. I'm wondering if they fixed "the beach" in Petco Park? In 09, they had actual seats and railings on "the beach" I hope they fixed that..Comment

This game is sounding very impressive. I don't even follow baseball but I'm thinking about getting this game. It seems like the developers didn't take any shortcuts when it comes to attention to detail.Comment
