And seen some misjudges in left at Fenway.
I've seen plenty of times where an outfielder misjudges a dive or a catch etc. They are rare, but they only happen on plays where there is the possibility of a catch.

What I'm referring to are those times when there is no chance of a catch and the AI instead just runs to it's spot 20 feet away from the ball and waits for it to bounce off the wall to them. It's never misplayed, and they don't get caught in a poor position. It's one reason why triples are difficult to come by.

It's not a big issue, but I was reminded by Pared saying how important it was going to be to make sure you played the angles correctly and wishing it might be the same for the AI.

I kid. They actually asked for a picture yesterday of the new digital scoreboard on the left field wall. So you are in luck.
Haha! That was a good one! Now only if they would remove Fenway Park!

You can hit a ball 307 feet down the right field line in Fenway with perfect loft and a favorable breeze and end up trotting around all four bases...STILL doesn't mean the ball was hit hard. So I am NOT saying that in the above scenario one should never get a hit (where did I say this?); I AM saying that the ball should not be hit hard. You're taking MY words out of context Ramone!
And in this game you don't hit it "hard" when those factors are there.

With all due respect, I am left wondering if anyone who is complaining about the hitting system has played baseball at a level higher than high school. I coach high school baseball so there is nothing bad meant by this, but when you are ahead in the count and you know a fastball in the middle of the zone is coming you may not always square it up. To break this down, when a 4 seam is coming in at 90 plus, all it takes is for the barrel of the bat to be SLIGHTLY below your hands and its going straight up. You have very little time to get your hands through the hitting zone, "the hardest thing to do in sports is to take a round ball and a round bat and hit it square." my favorite baseball quote that applies very nicely here.

Ive seen Pujols fooled on a curveball and still hit the ball 410 feet off of hit front leg, the key is keeping your hands back...hence, a good hitter can be fooled but still hit the ball very solidly
