I think you are blurring the lines between video game and real life (BTW, the fact that we're getting to the point that this is happening more and more easily is pretty cool).
Yes, physics do apply, but we must keep in mind that this game is a *simulation*. Just like it must simulate a batter actually swinging a bat, it attempts to simulate when that batter feels like he times everthing perfectly and squares up, but *occasionally* misses by an inch resulting in a less than perfect hit.


), if I do everything correctly ... and the beauty of the SHOW is that you know exactly if you're timing it right and you know location and you know pitch ... the percentage of time you make poor contact should be minimal.
