Did anyone get a look at the draft? Did they fix the glitch where draftees would have the wrong audio name. Also do they have random stances instead of just generic 1 all the time?

I think it is wrong to say nothing changed but you will have to make that decision.

Well, in regards to the outfielders always playing caroms off the wall perfectly it seems that way. Like I said earlier, it's not a huge deal, but something that needs to be looked at eventually. Maybe I'll make that my own personal "tomahawk sign"!

We never said we used the batting stance guy this year

There were two instances yesterday where the cpu played a ball in the corner poorly and they had to go chase it. Remember the ball is moving more quickly to the corner this year and is really rattling around. Last year the ball was slow moving in the outfield. Just a heads up.

No update on whether baserunners have batting gloves this year? And do umpires where long sleeves when its cold?
I specifically looked for both of these.

I didn't see anyone with gloves on the basepaths.(pocket only)

...and someone started a game where all the players were wearing long sleeves...but the ump still had short sleeves.

                Mr. Franchise;
This doesn't have anything to do with the audio names...but
While I tried to get in as much and as much varied of the franchise options as I could....I didn't get as DEEP into it as I would have liked.

Like checking specific player details into multiple years in a franchise. First...it's difficult with the generated names for me....I would write down some....not see anything crazy....but who knows if it's something I miss with another.
Not renaming and then simming following through on multiple times makes it a bit unreliable to report to you....you know what I mean?
Plus...they've tweaked and are still tweaking portions of the logic to some things in franchise....and are ready to lock it down, so checking into specifics is kind of moot at this point.

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions

I was playing a game last night--'09. I pull a top spin sinking line drive seed down the left field line with Howie Kendrick that I thought was a sure 2B. Out of no where, Milton Bradley, who is a terrible fielder make a lunging summersault catch. Is it safe to say that his defense will be much worse in 2010 and only top OF with crazy range--ie. Carl Crawford may have made that play? I hope player range is really improved. I hope the improvements mentioned don't just effect fielding (as in errors made) but range as well. I would like to see Adrien Beltre and Chone Figgins make plays at 3B that say Chipper Jones could get to. On the other hand Kevin Kousmanoff set a single season record for field % at 3B so his glove and throwing accuracy should be nearly flawless but his range may be a notch lower than Beltre and Figgins. Can you guys confim or deny that?

Guys how is the " Real time pesentation " for this game ? I have to say that 2k did a fine job on that last year with their game. I really like the realtime shots vs cut scenes. It is like there are cameras all over the ballpark and in between plays / innings / at bats etc they would pick a camera and show the perspective from that camera. It really kept the game fresh over time if you will. I think it is the way to go as the cut scenes get boring game after game, but the realtime camera angles give you a real broadcast feel and not only that but give you different looks at the ballpark / surroundings as well.
I read or head somewhere that SCEA is going to change the way sports games are made in regards to this realtime presentation.
So my question is for anybody who played or seen the 2k9 game last year , how does the mlb the show 10 compare in this aspect of the game ??

And what about gatorade jugs getting all beatin up? Is that in? Or wait, what about players who look up at scoreboards while they're walkin....JK

It's cool they're gonna be walkin down stairs. I'm so excited for this...
Watching them do the moonwalk at the stairs was funny looking.

LOL......I can already imagine the adventure people "especially Dodger fans" are going to have attempting to play the ball off the rounded outfield corners of Dodger Stadium....Hello automatic CPU triples and attempted inside the park Home Runs

My personal belief is they will make it in...but I'll be happy(for now!) with the fact that the drop down ticker is in and shows a lot of information and you will get the scores from around the league in the 3rd/7th/9th(sometimes) inning breaks.(this actually looks pretty cool)

Hey knight, when you say updates from around the league, is it your franchise league or the real mlb? I onlya sk cause you say you still want a franchise ticker, is this the same as score updates or something different? Im trying to figure out whats in and what you hoped would be in.

                                thanks man!
