Does the pitcher actually turn his head and look at second base if there is a runner on second base? Sounds so simple.Comment

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
All I know is that all the information coming out of this Community Day Event has been great. I can't wait to hear about the Focus Test and what went on, what was said, etc. etc.
I haven't been this excited about a game coming out in a long time. March is going to be great. MLB '10:The Show, God Of War 3, an Alice In Chains concert that first week in March, a trip out to Arizona for work, a trip out to Spain for work. February will be the longest shortest-month ever this year.
I'm especially happy because I know that a lot of the stuff that was intoduced last year, which may have been not up to par, will have been worked on and smoothed out this year. From what I hear from the SCEA guys in the pre-release stuff last year and this year, they were able to spend a lot of time to polish everything that they considered slightly under-polished last year. This is going to be great, and I think I can safely say that High Heat Baseball has finally been surpassed. Great job guys!Comment

re: Community Day Questions, Answers, and Impressions
Did anyone get a chance to look at this years in game roster editor? If so, I have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer.
Will the editor let you use punctuation (periods/hyphens/etc.) to a created players name? Is there a possibility for more character space for those created players that have long names instead of having to abbreviate them? Can you put spaces in between last names such as Van Slyke or Van Every?
Can you organize/sort the listing of a teams player list in the edit player screen other than by overall rating? Something like listing players top to bottom by potential, descending levels, 40 man status etc.
Will we be able to edit non-MLBPA players names and appearances?
Knight, were you able to make a copy of the installation file for SCEA's pc roster editor on a flash drive? Just kidding.
Thanks for the all the updates and information. Great thread!
Yes.. you can sort any column in the manage roster screen now.
Same as last year....we'll be able to edit fake players.....only attributes and accessories for real players though.
I wish!

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
-there are more accessory options(like 30 colors for 5 different areas of shoes!)...same with catchers equipment....bats...not that I have to go nuts with that...but
Then...there is the fact that there are 450 more guys to edit. Those being the 15 Single A teams.
I've got my work cut out for me!
It'll be worth it though.
Franchise is sick this year.

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
I missed the news on the Single A teams. Does each club now have Single A teams with a roster of 15 players and can you play a game with these teams or is it just additional players to fill the MLB-AA? Sorry, I some how missed the news on this one.Comment

The Single A team is gonna give us the ability to pretty much have the exact AA and AAA teams and batting orders and have the Single A team for all those guys that are on the other various farm teams? I know weve been limited before so this should open things up..any word on how many create a players you get this year? and the the ability to change MLB experience when creating a player?Comment
