re: Community Day Questions, Answers, and Impressions
it's already been answered. You have to search through the thread to find it. On of the guys attending the even said he saw a lady fall out of the stands in foul territory reaching for a ball. So I am pretty sure that sums it up.Comment

This is something I'd like to hear about. It was something that could be exploited online as well. You get guys playing as St. Louis and intentionally throwing balls in the dirt to get Molina to block and then throw to first, picking the runner off a fair amount of the time.Steam: BahnzoComment

The work done on the swings/post swings this year is great. Check swings are completely responsive and amazing looking. In a game that Brett and I played we didn't feel that any of the check swings had predetermined call by the ump and they looked to be called correctly. So from our aspect in our game, an improvement.
If you bring in a relief pitcher that isn't quite warmed up yet (bar is BLUE) up will see his bar increase with each warm up pitch that he throws.
Warming up pitchers on the mound is awesome, as is being able to put them in while batting in the inning prior.
If we can truly see the player card while selecting pinch hitters/runners (as Knight suggested earlier) then I will be near perfection.
Damn, I get hooked every year!Comment

You also have the option to have the pitchers come in already warm if you want." jim 416
I take it these warm up pitches are for relievers only? When I was thinking about this is could be a little add on next year to have it for each inning and have the catcher throw down to 2nd...or maybe just add that feature in RTTS..be neat..but dont take this as anything other than a thought..this news is great on its own and makes a great addition.Comment

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
I know baseball is americas game and all but since we Canadians only have one team now..whats the news on the Rogers Centre? Anything remotely interesting to do with the lone chise up north? Did they add the big gaping hole in the pitching rotation left by Halladay? lolComment

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
I felt that MLB09, when playing the AI, whatever team's pitcher you faced it felt like it pitched to you the same style. Sure, many pitchers have a different mix of pitches, but the thinking of how you get pitched at, didnt feel different from pitcher to pitcher/team to team. How does MLB10 feel like in this regard when going against the AI?Comment

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
probably won't see anymore screens until the February media blitz.
The CD guys aren't allowed to post vids or pics. I'm not sure if they took either, but I do know that Russell said there is a "halt" on screens and videos.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions
So when pitching you can shake off a sign and the pitcher will give you a new one? Cause I don't remember being able to shake off the catcher's sign last year besides just deciding to throw it wherever I wanted.Comment
