last year, there were times where i felt i was dead on with a swing...only to pop it up or hit a dribbler. then, i'd go to the replay and notice that i was dead on, but the ball didnt respond the way that it should of.

i'm guessing that has to do with ball/bat collision/physics...have you seen improvement there?

all of this sounds awesome by the way.

I second this. Many times even guessing the right pitch and location AND timing ... only to pop up.

And the game will always have that you guess right you get great timing and its a popup. You will also still see those instances where you guess wrong your timing is off and you get a HR but no one ever talk about those.

Haha this is true. I think a lot of people are ticked by it because this happens witha good hitter who normally would go yard or get a base hit. Personally I think teh system you have in place but there are instances it could be tweaked you could say.

You can change your preferences to have (I think) 40 posts per page. For me, this thread is only at page 6. Much easier to read through IMO.

More about the throw meter or whatever its called please! If it has an impact this year, does it move slower than last year so that it is use-able? Thanks, and I hope you guys are enjoying the wonderful Southern California weather we are having!

Nem and the guys will elaborate on it more tonight or on Friday when they get a chance. I think everyone finally understands what the changes are its not something that's easy to explain.

We now have three options for the throw meter this year. Off, On, and No Feedback. If you play with it Off its just like MLB09, On is the new option for this year where the meter actually works and no feedback is just no visual feedback. The only feedback you get is from the animation for those who want the purist form of fielding in the game this year.

That sounds great! I really look forward to what Nemesis has to say about it...I know he was intent on really digging deep into it. Should be some awesome insight! I dig the no feedback option where you can rely on animations...

On RTTS, will there be more opportunities to get positive training points. In 09, there were more things you could do to get negative points than positive, there needs to be more positive result opportunities, like moving a runner up a base.

Really cool. So no feedback I assume is like a quarterback in Madden. Where there is no visual cue, but you have to go on feel and touch. I like!!!
