The SCEA boys were pretty lenient with the NDA this time around.

Still, there's no way we could find all of the little things over the course of three days - I'm sure there will still be plenty of surprises when the game drops.

should not be getting thrown out by a mile every single time. It takes away from the game a bit. Not every ball that is thrown out of the first baseman's reach is going to be ricocheting off of the dugout to the catcher perfectly. I'm fine with this play every once in a while but everytime is pretty ridiculous. This has even happened when I was on the defensive end too.
Help me out. I have NEVER seen this in The Show. You are saying that an infielder over throws first base with Juan Pierre running, the ball bounces back to the catcher who throws Pierre out by a mile every single time. Am I hearing this right?

I think he means when you try to advance the runner. I could be wrong though.

are there still going to be "hidden" stances and motions? if so, can we get a list of them ?

Actually 09 was missing the pennant flags and also the liberty bell's animation on Home runs is wrong compared to real life.

I wonder if they fixed this for MLB 10 The Show?

I posted about the liberty bell's animations not being like real life in the Graphics/Stadium and Fan Feedback. So I hope it was fixed.

                Exactly.

Basically, it's going to be a bang-bang play at 1st and the infielder winds up overthrowing the first baseman.

Naturally, the baserunner, seeing the miscue, goes to take the extra base.

The ball then proceeds to hit the dugout at the perfect angle to roll to the catcher who is waiting for it.

The catcher then throws the ball to nail the runner at 2B by a good amount.

I've had this happen numerous times both on the offensive and defensive end. It just seems a little too unrealistic. At least with it's success rate.

Hidden? You mean like the guys that have stances you can't assign to anyone in CAP and editor? Like Brian Braun?

yes there have been several hidden stances the last 2 years where you can't assign them to other people and if you change them you can't get them back. Braun was one of them

I see. I think Evan Longoria was like that too.

Can anyone tell me if Alfonso Soriano does his stupid 'hop' in the outfield when attempting to make a catch? Thanks!

I only have 2 questions....very sorry if they have already been answered.
                          - Is evening to night transition fixed in 10?

                          - In regards to the throwing meter, is it more difficult to make an accurate throw with infielders who are having to make an off balance throw? For instance, if a SS fields a ball just out of reach of the 3rd baseman and their momentum is carrying them away from 1st.

You could always assign them for that one day. (I guess)

How is Ichiro's swing? Does he have that running start out of the box when he makes contact? Thanks again for any information.
