Can you just flat out release players this year? No swapping for another guy, etc...just take a guy and dump him? I didn't recall seeing it asked and I know there have been more than a few frustrated by this.

    Thanks!
    i second this.

Can someone tell me if the baserunners use batting gloves when appropriate?

I like the fact they added many colors for equipment but this would just make it perfect!

Have they fixed the problem where players would retire far too early? Some players were retiring at age 30.

I just read thru 5 pages worth about Turner field...and they didn't even make the playoffs.

My biggest questions are regarding franchise, CPU logic etc. so I expect a lot of info regarding it tonight. Good stuff guys!

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Some details I noticed about new Yankee Stadium

The two videoscreens on either side of the main Jumbotron should be animated also instead of just displaying scores, real life they put states, scores, animations, and all other messages on these two screens. Plus, did they make the walls blue in the bullpen area? These were painted mid season last year from white. Plus on the manual scoreboards located in the outfield walls they have some digital numbers for strikes/balls/outs, in real life they are red, last year the Show had them all yellow. And one more thing, the foul poles in yankee stadium have a screen that goes all the way down to the top of the wall. Small things I noticed. Any changes like that to the stadium? Thanks

The abilty now to totally simulate a real season with 30 team control and injury creation, unreal. Totally customizing player equipment, all you roster creators must be psyched !

I saw one of the guys mention that you can play your franchise at any stadium, but can you play every game at different stadiums, or just choose which stadium to use at the beginning? I hope you can play at different stadiums during the season, but don't know how that would effect attendance, revenue, etc.

Personally..I wish we didn't lose the game highlights when you save.
Sorry Knight, this is what I meant. It's not a big deal, but at the end of a game I like to see the pitch count totals for all the pitches thrown by all the pitchers, but not a big deal.

Being able to save the game and continue to play is much more important to me.

                                Thanks for responding though.
