went over to best buy this mornin and simmed a franchise up until i got to the world series. Yanks vs Phils in the series, in Philly, and the towels were out for game one. I put 2 runners on and connected with a 3-run bomb by texiera, and what do you know, the towels stopped. haha. Homerun cam was awesome.

I also played the futures game, and elected to play it at Target field... the only thing that alarmed me were some of those minor league stats.

The starting 3B for team USA was hitting .366 with 22 HR and 79 RBI at the break.... and I put one in the upper deck in LF with him on the first pitch I saw.

But otherwise the game is sick.

Simmed through the whole season, and stats were pretty accurate. Only eyebrow raising ones were: Yanks won 109 games. A-Rod hit 51 HR, Javy went 20-5 with a 3.87

yep, just didnt know i'd have to tweak things all around.
I figured since it was changed it was the default HR view.
plus, i was playing it at a best buy, didnt wanna do a Vin Scully and pull up a chair and stay a while.

just reporting what i saw .

I'm pretty sure your defensive fielding view was still set to 'medium' - the camera defaults I saw were 'medium' for 1P defense, and 'broadcast' for 1P offense. I guess it can be a little confusing, being that there is a presentation style named 'broadcast' as well (you seemed to have changed that ok to real time.)

Also, as far as graphics, you kind of have to attribute that to the TV's because:

1. You are inches from a large CD screen.

2. They are most likely not calibrated for anything other than to be super-bright attention grabbers.

3. And this also effects gameplay, the TV I was playing on had a GAME MODE, but of course it wasn't on. I went into the settings and activated it so I didn't have all the input lag (which was 10X worse being face to face with the screen LOL)

All-in-all BB probably owes me for my GeekSquad support but I will let them slide since I had free go at the game. Nobody said anything, but I'm sure the BB kid was thinking "what the hell is this guy doing in the TV settings?" LOL

So what are the settings to see the homerun cam?
I am going back in a bit and will check it out.
Kei Igawa will pitch so i can make sure I see a HR
or i will just play against detroit an d bring in Coke.

I'm a little surprised about the ticker and the overlays.
You say you got no league leaders in a franchise game?
Kolbe said the franchise scores might not make it in, so I'm not shocked about that...but I saw quite a few league leader scroll-bys at community day and was told there would be even more....so I'm surprised they might have been pulled.
Also....you didn't get any league leader boxes or the out of town scores(not the ticker....but an overlay)?....that was also in.

Could you aslo check if the drummer at Progressive Field (Cleveland) is doing his thing? The Indians have to have some runners on base or some rally going so that the drummer can boom boom boom it on!

I play it here in Atlanta. I notice a couple of things. Playing with the Braves. I was batting with Glaus. He a shot deep left center, but it was caught by Victory if the Phils. The thing was I felt Glaus follow through just by pressing the "X" buttton. I also hit a homerun with Escobar. It was an inside pitch that I guess right on. Drilled 385 ft. left field. The tomahawk went in emotion and fireworks were going off as well. Finally we see the players going in the dugouts between inngs and not being stop by security, wink, wink...
