Huge Sounds of the Show/My MLB Music Bug:

The number of songs will not save. The mode is supposed to allow you to add 499 songs to your play list. While you can add the songs, once you turn off and then turn back on the game...the number reduces. It makes it very difficult to add songs to rosters.

What game mode did the bug happen in? N/A

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Yes, everytime i turn off the game the number of songs decreases.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Every time

Is everyone having this problem?

before i write this, i gotta say wow, i played through my first game, and what amazing progress. anyway here is the one glitch (if you can even call it that)

What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Gameplay, Online, etc....) exhibition

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? jose reyes was at 3b, jason bay was at bat. i accidentally hit the steal button. jose started stealing home, but jason bay struck out as the ball hit the dirt.. the catcher threw to 1st base to complete the out, and ignored the runner coming home.

How often can the bug be reproduced? not sure how often this could happen, has to be the perfect storm

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? In my second Cactus League game, it was my first without the DH. I pinch hit for the pitcher, and the game will not allow me to shift the pinch hitter to a position on the field. My only options are to leave him in to pitch, or bring in a new pitcher from the bullpen to take his place, and so I cannot leave the pinch hitter in for the rest of the game.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I was on 1st base and the count was 2-1 to the batter. Two outs in the inning. I wasn't paying attention and the pitcher picked me off for the 3rd out. When the next inning started, the batter at the plate had a 2-1 count on them before a single pitch was thrown. I am a catcher in my RttS career and call all pitches. Looks like the game forgot to clear out the count after the inning ended without the ball being put in play. Also happens if a runner is thrown out trying to steal.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
So far it has happened each and every time.

franchise game.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

start a game and play for a bit them SIM to the 9th. my closer is almost NEVER in during a closer situation. it puts in regular relief pitchers.

YES! Sounds of the Show worked great for me last year, but now I can't get them to work. Or, to be more specific, I can't get the game to save the sound files I copy into the custom playlist.

Russ, I haven't tried putting in my music again but I have encountered it (posted on P8).

Edit: Just maxed my playlist putting in whatever. Quit and rebooted, only 243 songs in the list. Added them again, Q/R'd, 243 again (same place). Tried a third time, 243 again. Yeah, it's borked.

Franchise - in game ticker not displaying last 10 games properly. Says that XXX enters the last 10 games with an 8-2 record - the wins/losses are the wrong way around - I've checked this when it pops up and it should read 2-8...it's displaying L - W, instead of W - L

I don't know if this was caaused by the patch or not. But when me or the CPU is batting and I press select the Left Handed Power is extremely low/incorrect, but when I go to Edit player it has their correct power.

Franchise - during the 2011 All-Star game, where the allstar logos are on the field there are HUGE blue boxes that look like missing textures where the logos should be.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
Just played the allstar game.

Only seen it just now.

It's been posted on main page. Russel said it was just the art on the batter analysis that is broken, but not the actual attribute so don't worry. Hanley Ramirez hit a HR to right center against my left handed pitcher, so obviously not a problem. Prolly will get fixed next patch thoug since it's a minor detail.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I play any exhibition game and the game is jerky/stutters. When the pitcher throws the ball to home plate the ball stutters. When the ump or catcher tosses the ball back to the pitcher the ball stutters. When hitting a foul ball and the ball is dropping into the crowd the ball stutters, very bad. When replays are playing you see the background stutter sometimes while the camera is a close up of a player. The player moves ok most of the time, but sometimes also stutters. A foul ball grounder near first or third and then the ball goes to the wall, like when fans reach for the ball, the game stutters a bit sometimes.

I have played night game in new yankee stadium and night game in new twins target field. Both exhibition and the games did the above stuff.

After you hit the ball and then once the fielders get to the ball and throw the ball, the game is slightly more smooth then the above mentioned.

When doing the game introduction and the announcers are talking the camera pans around the stadium. This will stutter sometimes. Some stadiums are smoother then others. Both new yankee stadium and Target field of the Twins stuttered slightly during this scene.

Players sometimes will be part way below ground level under the ground when walking on the mound. In HR Derby the players would sometimes be sitting and part of their body is under ground. When pitchers walk on the mound their feet will often be under ground a little. This is in any game mode etc.

Every game in any stadiium I've played so far.

This sounds like the same problem I had only mine was missing textures with the jerseys and instead my players were wearing sleeveless solid blue/pink/green etc. colours where their jerseys should be.
