What game mode did the bug happen in?
Happens every game mode.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
The neon sign does the chopping motion correctly when it is shown in from a camera angle real time presentation, but after it's done the first tomahawk in the sign stays lit up for the rest of the game.

In reality, the neon sign should never do the chopping motion after a home run. The neon tomahawk should do the chopping motion when home team is batting when the jumbotron says things like Great Hit, Awesome, or RBI. It should stop doing the tomahawk motion at the same time that the Awesome/Great Hit/RBI is no longer shown on the jumbotron.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
The bug happens any time I hit a home run with the Braves being the home team at Turner Field.

Re-posting #82 - This also happened to me and is a disappointing bug to something new added to the game. Also agree with the poster's description of how it should work, but honestly if it just worked on home runs without leaving the neon sign lit up the rest of the game in the wrong position it would be tremendously better for this years version until it can be programmed to work real to life next year.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? This happened twice. In the Top of the 6th Inning I intentionally walked the batter and the game freezes so we cannot do anything.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
So far both times I have intentionally walked someone in the Top of the 6th inning.

This happened to me too. What is up with online? If MW2 and other shooter games can play lag free, then a baseball game should too...

Apples and oranges, my friend. Baseball can have 13 artificial players at one time sometimes, and they all have to do on-the-fly logic and coordination when the ball is put in play. Include a crowd of 40,000 people and whatever else, there could be issues with this when it comes to online play. I don't know anything about it, but neither do you. I suppose we just have to trust that they are doing the best they can with it.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Playing a franchise game in the later innings have tried 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th. If i am batting and hit select after a pitch to see hot cold zones ect. the game freezes on me. I also started to pitch the top of the 9th the last game I played and to look at the opposing batters zone game also froze on me.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Has happened to me 4 times since i started a franchise game today.

I'm new here game is awesome, and these forums are very helpful with alot of things!

Other sports games are fine with the same or more going on. I trust they're doing their best with it, but am hoping it gets fixed. It's not just lag, it's freezing as well.

The audio for "big out recorded" always plays for the wrong team, no matter what stadium it seems.

For instance, if I am in Fenway, as the Yankees, and I strike out David Ortiz late in the game, I get the big-out sound effect, when in reality, it should only happen if a Red Sox player records a big out against the Yankees offense.

I had my first online freeze. After the game was completed it froze going back to the online hub screen. I had to reboot my ps3.

For some reason I can not listen in any of my buddy's games. The option is not there to select when I go into any of my buddy's gamer cards. However whenever I am in the lobbies, if anyone is in a game I can go to their gamer card and select "sports connect live" or whatever it's called to listen in on their games. Anyone else have this issue or know what I am doing wrong????

I am pretty sure this is a glaring ommision as it seems alot of us that dont go into the lobbies are comming about it.

Playing as Dodgers in Pittsburgh's PNC Park. Auto fielding on. Doumit for Pirates hits a ball into left centerfield gap. The ball rolls into the nook just left of the visitor's bullpen which juts out into the field of play. Matt Kemp(Dodger's center fielder) and left fielder run towards it. Kemp is obviously closer but he gets stuck on the left corner of bullpen by the door and is basically just spinning his wheels while the left fielder watches this unfold from about 20 feet away(not moving). Meanwhile Doumit circles the bases for what the announcer called an inside-the-park homerun. The box score and stats credited him with a triple, however. I believe the angle that Kemp took to the ball made him run into the corner of the bullpen that juts out and he could not get to the ball on this path.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I imagine everytime, but I nor the computer hit a ball in that spot again.

This is a serious issue and I hope it gets addressed.

Exhibition Mode

- Dodger stadium has NO field degradation
-Happens every game played in LA
- No Fireworks after the White Sox win @ US Cellular Field
-After every Home Win with the Chicago White Sox

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? When fielding a ground ball, attempting to throw to first sometimes results in throwing home. The first time, I thought I might have accidently hit X instead of O and shrugged it off, but the other two times I have been very careful of what buttons I press while fielding and it still happened again two more times.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
It has occurred once per game in 3 out of 8 games online so far.

It is possible that this may be a controller issue instead of a bug, so perhaps others can report if it happens to them. If it happens to others, it would eliminate my controller as a possible cause.

This does not follow the format of normal bugs.

Since the patch came out when I try to quit the game after I finish by pressing the PS button & then choosing the "quit game" icon located above the DVD icon of the game on the XMB, I get the whistle sound like when you first turn on the PS3 by pressing the PS button & it actually turns off my PS3 controller too.

This issue only started post patch.

This happens to me as well.
Quit out of the game and it before it goes to the ps3 main screen the console beeps and my controller turns off.
Weird.

Same thing for me since the patch (PS3 60 GB Fat Model). When I quit the game the PS3 beeps, shuts off and re-boots like I just powered on the system, my controller also shuts off.

Same thing for me as well... I have the Slim also. I was wondering if I should delete the Show all together from my system and start over. I'd hate for this to something that could permanently damage my Ps3........ Any other thoughts?

Franchise - Spring Training game


How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

When choosing a stadium I like to go to other major league parks since it is ST game. If you are scheduled to play a 1:05 day game and press R1 to go to MLB stadiums then it passes through the 'All-Star' game and turns it to a night game. At this point, no matter what stadium you select you are playing a night game. The only way to get back to a day game is back out to the schedule and start again.
**Workaround** If you press L1 instead of R1 and scroll left you can get to all other stadiums and play a day game in them. However, as soon as you pass through the 'All Star' game again it turns back to a night game again and its stuck that way.
